knatzz.....i'd like to see a bigger start button and a bigger logo inside it. Hey, thats just me though. I still think you have produced an exceptionally good piece of work here.

Thanks Leo, I like the start button to be smaller, saves room on the taskbar. I still have the psds though so maybe I'll add a subskin with a bigger start button when I update. good idea, thanks again

Nice set, just wonder if it will work with WB3.51 ...

It should work just fine with 3.51, if you find any problems just let me know and I'll fix 'em

... a "magic pink" problem on classic start button (for Win98) + probably something linked to strech or tile this button and / or sizing margins ...

Thanks for letting me know neophil, if I remember right, 3.5 doesn't support transparency for the start button. I'll see about making a 3.5 subskin or something so the problem is corrected when I update. Thanks again for letting me know

knatzz, in fact i'm using 3.51 because i'm using WIN98 2nd (which don't like too much .tga's)
For the "classic start button" i think the best to do is to do a specific .bmp file.
For doing a subskin running fine under 3.51 (so in fact, to be sure, running fine under Win98) the best to do is to convert all your .tga's files as .bmp's, (quiet a lot as i could see), change the transparent colour left by tga's by "magic pink", (perhaps have to redraw some off files too ...) and hold off in the .uis file all "translucent" options which were needed by .tga's for the converted .bmp's ...

It would take a lot of work to convert the tgas to bmps, alot of the buttons aren't 100% opaque at the edges, so the pink would bleed through without some re-drawing, but I'll see what I can do. I've got a fix list going and I'm probably going to end up updating the enitre suite when I can. BTW I thought 4.2 supported 9x. Am I wrong? Thanks again neophil

Sure it's a lot of work (you can see my different screenshots, on nearlly all of them i did converting and redrawing to make skins running well
Yep, 4.2 supports 9x, but in fact not all features (toolbar icons for instance is not supported and as i'm concerned, animations are not working neither - but it's perhaps a personal trouble - )

Forgot to say, I really really like this skin. The color scheme is so refreshing amongst so many other WBs that all tend to look the same. Keep up the good work!
