Please try not to use MS Paint next time. Sorry if i'm being harsh, just you can put a lot more work into this.

I think the "3" rating on this was rather harsh. It's a minimalist theme, and the rating should bear the genre in mind. Some killer LiteStep themes have come from MS Paint (by some of the masters, no less). It's not always what tool you use; it's how to use it. Keep skinning, bro. I look forward to the next one!

nothing good will ever come from mspaint, please don't talk. the tool you use has LOTS to do with it, and you jsut cannot get good quality with anything like paint... I guess its kinda somewhat okay for your first skin... but that doesn't excuse the crappiness... Try again please

Let us erase that last rather ignorant (no offense intented) comment from our collective mind and ponder the positives of this skin. Let us also point out the flaws in a polite and supportive manner just as we would like our skin critiqud.

djhaining, I think you've done pretty well for a first skin, you did leave out a some parts unskinned though so I don't really consider this a complete skin.

I think the use of MS Paint was assumed by the presence of the Paint icon the Start panel. If you did use Paint, well done. You've made good use out of a *very* basic tool, you should, however, consider using more "skinner friendly" tools like PaintShop Pro, PhotoShop or Fireworks.

Nevertheless, good work. Looking forward to see what you come up with next.

I agree that its a pretty good minimalist skin. I also agree that you need to skin more parts than you have.

DChet gave some an awesome comment, but I disagree with the suggestion to use PSP. PS, or FW. Although they are superior programs to use, since you are just starting out and probably not looking to spend hundreds of dollars... do a search on GIMP. It's a completely free program that I myself used to use that is almost exactly like PSP. It's a great product and absolutely 100% free.

i like this skin, i agree that everything needs to be skinned but i like the clean design, sometimes you don't want something overly elaborate LOL

I don't typically comment on skins as I'm not an artist. But come on fluff..."but that doesn't excuse the crappiness" Harsh words for a person that has yet to skin something themselves. Have an appreciation for the effort...one which you obviously have no understanding of what is involved. And Dj...Thanks for doing something I can't do myself...a WB skin. I like your approach and like all things...they get better with practice. Fluff...grow up!

Instead of knocking MS paint, you should be getting credit for being so creative with such a limited application. And this is your first skin no less. Generally speaking, I like the "feel" of the design and I think you have more good things in store for WC. And I never realized you can use transparency on the logoff dialogue. Thanx for showing me something new. Keep plugging )

Very good skin. Im downloading this one.

Only thing I dont like about the screenshot is the 99% naked girl. I wouldn't even like seeing a handsome naked guy sticking in my face in a screenshot and I'm a female.

Can't blame you guys though it's us 'girls gone wild" who only encourage this sort of stuff by modeling like that for lotsa $$$ then we wonder why wer'e treated like dumb blondes afterwards.

Hmm, what was te pic of christina good for anyways ? Has nothing to do with the skin. But at least Yiu got attention. The skin is not bad for a first shot. We all have seen worse.
