Very cool, but the reversed positions of the title bar buttons keeps me thoroughly confused.

Have you gotten xero's permission (brushed panther) to copy his work? Port or no port, you have copied and colored someone elses work without theier permission. Sure there is permission in the folder but where is his permission to rip xeros skin? Please justify.

NightTrain2002, this has nothing to do with his work. The only skin I have looked at when making this is at the link above.

NightTrain2002, this is a port of this skin: http://www.resexcellence.com/themes/DeXtop/04-01_applewood101_lg.jpg

All of the images were created from scratch based on that screeshot, with permission. This has nothing more in common with Brushed Panther than any other Apple-style skin, all of which are based on Apple's GUI. I fail to see how you can justify calling this a rip.

Well I did compare the 2 skins in skinstudio before posting my comment and there are graphics that match graphics in the panther skin. If I am wrong I will eat my words. This looks like brushed panther and some of the graphics are too similiar for comfort. I am not accusing Urban 1 of doing anything wrong except possibly porting a skin that the author did not get proper permission. That is why I asked for some clarification. I doubt that I am the only person to see the similarities. I am not trying to be a big jerk, and I hope noone sees it that way. I would have emailed urban1 with my issue but he/ she does not have their email posted so I had to leave my comment here. I hope this justifies my comment .

I see a couple of similar controls (checkboxes, radio buttons, etc), but the image files are not identical. Brushed Panther is a copy of Mac OSX Panter, Apple's operating system. Applewood aims to recreate that look with wooden textures. The fact that they would both use elements of Apple's OS is not suprising. Xero did not create the OSX look, nor does he have any right to control its usage. Only Apple does. I can guarentee you that Brushed Panther does not come with permission from Apple to use those images either.

Enough said. I can't argue with you Mike. For two reasons, your much more qualified to make the call and it appears I was wrong. Please understand that I would have emailed urban1 if I could have and not soiled his board. I apologize.

Cool Urban1, looks like something you'd see in a living room decorated with danish modern styled furniture. In fact it'd probably accent a room decorated in that way very positively.

Further comment,
Just applied this skin on my computer (to try and understand why it was rated so low ) and it transitioned smoothly and rapidly, it is pleasant to work with and easy to view, I see nothing that could possibly have made this skin get such a low rating, and so have rated it accordingly.
Nice work and despite the fact that I wouldn't have dl'd it based on the screenshot, I am enjoying it since I applied it.one of those "you gotta try it to really like it" skins I guess

Urban1, just wanted you to know, I redid the margins on the horizontal scrollbar. Setting them closer clears up the image, it was a little blocky. This is a wonderful skin.

For some reason everytime I reboot I have to set the wallpaper. Speaking of which, where is the zip with the wallpaper?
