bulbaa, the alpha blended start menu sub-skins will only work with WindowBlinds 4.5. You can use the non-alpha blended sub-skins with 4.4.

Very good skin. I just can't seem to find how to make it opaque

otiosedude, you can choose between opaque and alpha-blended subskins in Display Properties. The drop-down menu you select it from is shown in the preview.

Wow! After reading all the comments I feel I am merely repeating what everyone else has said already. I'll do it anyway I have *really* enjoyed this skin and have used it 100% of the time since you first put it out. In fact... a friend of mine saw it on my PC and it inspired him so much (after a few cocktails)... he now skins as well

I was looking to email and ask you a question but (duh) I couldn't find a way. I enjoy your other work, but this just rocks

hey i cant get the transparency to work.... can someone explain to me how to get it to work, and for some reason the background for the right half of the start menu starts as pitch black and when i put my mouse over it changes back to normal...

letjanitorsvote, you need to be using WindowBlinds 4.5 or higher. Otherwise you'll have to stick with the opaque start menu.

KC, you can contact me via http://www.skinplant.com

This is a really great skin. The opaque Start menu looks very cool.

Great Job, I'm very impressed.

Anyone else notice that this theme is used in CSI: Miami on their machines? You can see a closeup of the skin in last night's episode, and in other episodes.

Awesome skin. Where is the collapse button for windows? Or are you setting the double click action of the caption bar to collapse instead of maximize? Update: Never mind. I found it. Just right click.

I've tried hundreds of skins and this one is my favorite!.....Great job!
I have a few problems though that I hope can be resolved.
1. When I select the alpha blended substyle, the wallpaper shows through but is way too bright and the wall is fairly dark. Is there a setting to adjust this as the sample pic looks much better.
2. Using the alpha blending substyle, mouseovers show gray boxes around main menu items that don't go away until I leave the start menu.
3. In many menu's like the display control panel menu, I get white boxes around the submenu tabs that partially obscure the tab and get worse as I mouse over them.
4. If I select the control panel as a list from the start menu, any item I mouseover in the list white's out so the the text is not viewable

any ideas?
