Not bad at all for your first skin, I'm a sucker for blue & glossy and this looks great. And kudos for using Paint, you have some serious patience

I only use paint as of now, and have no idea how to do this. Nice job.

Wow... awesome effort for having done it in MS Paint.
I'd like to see the kind of work you can come up with using a proper graphics editor.

Keep it up.

Incredible work! I really like the effort that you've put into this. I remember when I made Media Player skins with Paint and Notepad. Now I use Photoshop and ObjectEdit, and quality has improved. Now, if this is your PAINT quality, I cant wait for you to get better stuff!

Wow!! Thank you all for such positive feedback!! It's absolutely worth all of the long nights I spent plugging away at this. I never thought I'd get such a good response seeing that I've litterally never touched skinstudio before. I used paint simply because i don't do alot of graphics editing or creation so naturally, it's what i was most comfortable with. Also, it gives me the prescision feel that i like. I also generated some of the images in Macromedia flash and ported them over. This is a much bigger task than i thought
I run an exact variation of this skin on my system but replaces the start button with the Hewlett Packard logo. I'm one of those freaks that likes all of their computer equipment to match, so my goal was to create a skin to match the computer as well...hense the color scheme.

Unfortunately I can't provide a link for the wallpaper (can't remember where i downloaded it from), and I don't want to upload another artist's work as far as that's concerned. Toolbar icons are in the works as well as animations. Additionally, i've uploaded an updated that includes completed scrollbars, a fixed start button, recollored taskbar buttons to match the start button, and a user pic.

Feedback like this is incredibly apreciated and will drive me to do more of these. Thanks everyone for the comments and for giving this skin a try

Great job on this skin. Its hard enough to make the images on standard graphic program, so I can imagine how hard it is to make them on MS Paint.
Keep up the good work

wow...again, thank you all so much for the positive feedback. i've already started work on my next skin due sometime in the near future. it's starting out to be somewhat similar to Blue Lift, but my goal is to take what i've learned and continue to progress and take it to the next level.

i've gotten some requests for the icons so here is the link https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=novacon&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&library=2 . props to DigitalCHET for creating a killer iconpackage that goes well with almost any skin out there.

for all of you HP computer owners out there, I have an alternate version of Blue Lift that replaces the start button with the HP logo. it won't be posted here but if you're interested feel free to contact me at solsen4@new.rr.com.

thanks for the support and kind words. hopefully i won't disappoint with my next effort.
