I think your skin is great I love the color, but I have one problem with it, you can't read the buttons in word or excell if you're using one of the wizards to say write a letter. You can't read the command buttons. Please fix this because I love this skin. Bernie D

Bernie D - Found the problem you were talking about and made the corrections so the system buttons should now be readable and useable.

great skin only one problem though. in 1280*1024 the text in the tool bars is very small and hard to see, plus all the icons in the minimize/process bar are pixilated. u might want to make remake a version optimized for 1280*1024 when u get some time. otherwise awsome

thanks everyone for the feedback...very helpfull stuff. The skin was actually designed in 1280*1024 resolution so if you could be more specific about the pixelated areas that'd be great so i could make changes...not sure what you mean by minimize/process bar. i'm not seeing those issues on my system. the text is difficult to read at higher resolutions so i'm contemplating adding a subskin with larger fonts to accomodate this. this should all culminate in one large major update coming soon. Thanks for the feedback!!

Incredible skin but I to have my res @ 1280x1024 and find it very hard to read the text. Would love to have that part changed but great layout nonetheless!

Thanks for the screenshot!! I do see what you mean, but it appears that is everything is the way I had intended it to be. Unless of course, you've got Windowblinds doing font overrides which could mess things up a bit. Personally, I like the ultra minimalistic look and feel. But I respect and understand that some don't. That being the case I've already started working on a version of this skin with larger fonts. It should be out in a couple of days after I post my first major update today. Haven't decided if it's going to be a whole new version of the skin, or a substyle. I'll keep you posted. If anyone has changed the fonts for this skin on their system and found one that looks good, by all means send me a screenshot at solsen4@new.rr.com and which font you used. If I pick yours I'd be more than happy to give you the credit for that portion of ths skin.

I kinda like it, but I can't read the text, either. Sort of makes it useless as is.
Please fix. It has the potential to be very good.

This skin is way better than a 6 
I installed and changed all fonts to Verdana with great results. Straight up the fonts that come with the skin are tuff to read.
Scion please continue to tweak - this skin holds great promise.

I would like to see just a few things in your update. The buttons - should look like buttons not boxes. This would add to your design and also the same for the task bar buttons as well. They are good - but I bet you could improve them some more.
Don't get me wrong - I just like to see if my thoughts will help you for your up date. As for fonts - I see what everyone is talking about - but I've no problems with that as I can change any part of any font for any part of your wb for myself. So far I've made no changes for I use 1280x1024 res - with a 103dpi..
I must say your work is very good and I do look forward toseeing your next update Shawn and keep em comin!

Thank you all so much for the feedback. Very helpfull stuff. By popular demand I've uploaded a new version of the skin with larger fonts and various other updates as well. My goal is to leave the original design alone but make it more useable without comprimising the look. The skin will be called Re-Visited so please give it a look and let me know what you think.
As for the buttons. I tried a bunch of various designs and schemes and it just didn't fit the overall minimalistic theme. Which is why i went with the simplistic boxes. I'm one of the "less is more" people I guess. If you like the basic design of the skin but feel you could make it look even cooler, by all means feel free to make enhancements to the skin and upload it with my full permission. I'd love to see what others would add to it or take away from it. I'm not one of those that takes a stance of "i'm an artist, my work is sacred". By all means take what i've done and run with it. I'm more of a fan of cool skins, than i am of praise and glory.
Take a look at the new upload and as always, comments are more than welcome and i'll do everything in my power to make your suggestions happen.

I just noticed a bug
While using Firefox, I noticed that the menu bar does not show up. The drop down works perfect but you can scroll down and not see anything.

very good skin colours. white text, menu item, does not work on menu bar bitmap,maybe use less preset colours (63) and fonts (38)
