...run WB and under "SETTINGS > My Skins" Click "User overrides>>>, at right cornermost you'll see "XP OVERRIDES" there. uncheck them. Go back to WB setting and choose Compact menu then apply...hope this helps you, buddy!!!

I cant use it either, eventhough my XP-overrides are unchecked.

Same problems described by Citizen yonaz333 apply to me as well. Please fix or offer work-around ... I sure would like to use this skin.

...Now i change the file to "Folder file" for a run-around request by Tecumseh. After you extract the Zip file, CUT>CARRY the folder Bench2 in your C: Drive >Program Files > Stardock > Object Desktop > "WINDOWBLINDS folder". Get back to your WB and run, then apply. Hope this issue can solve some users now.

The folder that is created is called "Benchwarmer 2 Compact.sss". You need to rename the folder to "Benchwarmer 2 Compact". This should fix all problems with the skin not working.
