Yup. It's a skin. And no, there aren't any glaring problems with it other than there is nothing to it other than some gradients.
My suggestion is that you search for windowblinds skins on here and sort them at the top by popularity and/or rating and see what makes the most downloaded or most popular as popular as they are. WHY are people downloading these skins so much? WHY are they so cool and popular?
Once you figure out what others are doing right, you can figure out what you are doing wrong.

It's about time some one does one in this beautiful purple. And not everybody wants all that fancy stuff, but just the color. Me personally, I love it. I've been looking gor one of this shade of purple. So I say thank you.

I think that it looks great... You did a great job.. Keep making them in the different colours and watch your download number go up
