awsome. the font seems too small though. I can hardly read them on 1280x1024. have to force a different one. some issues with the transparent start menu, but I think that's my system (mouse-overs don't work and leaves every item in dark)

one of the most usable skins i've seen recently. however, you might want to include the fonts you use. most people don't have these fonts already, and the text is very small and hard to read without the proper fonts installed.

Elements of this look familiar.

Besides the font size issue, I really like this skin. If Mike Bryant's StealthOS and Tronnix had a baby I think it would look a lot like this.

Clean smart skin
that's a great observation pcrow, and a compliment since they are both great skins, in fact the last two I've been using.
two observations however. Quickstart icons have a large shape around them which has a dot appearing when the cursor hovers over them. This is obviously pat of the design, but I have 10 quick start icons, and they therefore take up alot of taskbar space (my problem, not yourse).
Also Firefox does not seem to want to have the righthand side showing, the scroll bar shows, but theres nothing to the right. It only seems to be Firefox thats affected...anyone else getting this?

What is skinning your right click menu? Right click? If so, how do you "install" skins to it?

An answer from the author would be nice about these "rip" accusations.

first of all, thank you all so much for the positive feedback. it is certainly encouraging and definately makes the long nights worth while. And yes, the font is small but that was by design. I had tried larger fonts but felt they didn't didn't fit the minimal theme. Although, you can force a larger font if you choose to...I would recommend Arial size 12. There were so many other skins and artists that influence my work that it would be difficult to list them all. With so much innovation it's difficult to have anything that doesn't look "familiar". The same could be said for any skin containing a glass taskbar or transparent start panel. This skin spent so long in production and one of the reasons for that is that there were skins coming out using design elements i was using at the time. So back to the drawing board it would go. Just because something looks similiar, doesn't mean that something was a "rip". I'm not even sure which parts are being considered a "rip". For that matter, I'm not even sure what a "rip" is. As far as an accussation, I didn't even know there was one. But please be sure to accuse the next author of a "rip" the next time something is realeased with "familiar ellements". Look around, everything looks "familiar". NEXT PERSON TO RELEASE A GRADIENT TASKBAR BE DAMNED...DAMDED I SAY!! Relax folks, this isn't world politics, rocket science, or brain surgery...none of us are paid for this...we do it for enjoyment...let's keep it that way.

Nice job on the transparent start menu. But, I will admit my first instinct was this looks like digital and tronnix...but, I guess there's just so many colors and ways to make a skin..so, I will just say Thanks.

I have been using for some days this skin.
Impossible to appraise it less than 4 stars.
Unbelievable.
This is my point of view.
