Jaebear... the icons are FauxS-X Ruby by Mormegil and they're an IP set that you can get here on the site, or if you update to the latest IconPackager they come with it. That wallpaper actually came standard with my computer. If you have XP it might be found in My Pictures: Sample Pictures. If not, I saw it also on the site Lady Di's Dimensions. If you would like the wall, drop me an Email

I couldn't agree more actually. Whenever I try to edit something in Skin Studio I mess it up so I just left it alone. This VS didn't have shell styles or a skinned logoff dialog and had there been images to edit I would have recolored them and saved them exactly as they are named. I couldn't find any in the folder, which I guess means they weren't included in the UIS file and we're looking at Luna stuff. I applaud everyone who is able to make a VS or WB... I made one a while back and I ended up hating it so for the time being I'll try to port things and broaden my skills that way. Thanks for the feedback.

~Angelic DestinE, to change task panel colors, open skin in SkinStudio, Explorer tree menu, open Shellstyle (unsupported) select, right click, remove section for both Shellstyle XP Low Level definition and Embedded Strings. You can then select Task Pane and use ( on right ) Background color and Background Color - Gradient to whatever you want. As for logoff and shutdown Msstyles skins use default XP so they are not in file, to change you must created image yourself, default size is 318x198.

Ok... let me give that a try. I have SkinStudio Free version so I'm not sure it will work but I can play around with it. Thanks for the tip.

Just tried it and it says the default image is too complex or hasn't been added. How do I add an image?

Thanks Jalenthorn. I'm a big fan of your Llumblau suite so I think it's really something special you would comment on one of my ports.

Thank you everyone... I'm having a blast learning how to use Skin Studio and now that I know to always use it on 1024x768 resolution I know I'm not missing any essential settings. That has been a big DUH moment for me for months... My dream is to one day make a skin from scratch, have a whole bunch of substyles for compact, translucence, etc., have every single element skinned and have it be so good that it gets 10,000 downloads. hehehe. That's a piece of cake for some people but for us self-taught folks it's a milestone. Bet, you're my inspiration. I watched you go from making the type of blinds that I would make into creating near-flawless works of art. I think when I do start making blinds you'll be my test subject and so will Jon and Karen and a few others.

Angel, you did a fine job to port this VS. I use StyleXP & WB. Sometimes, lighter is better. I like the extra cool gadgets. Sometime, when my kids are in school FULL time, I'm planning to make VS or WB skins. I need skills. You've got talent, kid. Porting can be fun & lot of work.

*Just letting everybody know that as I learn more I go back and edit my ports with little tweaks and such. I won't always update them here. If you want to be on my updates list please send email to AngelicDestinE@comcast.net (account I created for a mailing list). I will also send unreleased stuff through this mailing list too.
