john houssock, if you're using the WindowBlinds 5 beta, that's most likely a compatibility issue with your system the beta itself. If you're using an older version of WindowBlinds, the taskbar isn't going to look right.

you'll have to wait until WindowBlinds 5 is officially released to the public which will happen some time around the end of October or start of November. Be advised that i'm just guessing these dates but they seem fairly approriate for me.
If you have registered just for WindowBlinds right now you'll be getting WB5 for free once it's out as far as i heard.
