bigdog5142: You should see your own wallpaper behind the taskbar. You may need to update to the latest WB5 beta. I think that problem has already been fixed. In the meantime, try unlocking/locking the taskbar to force it to update.

I do have the latest beta...at least that's what Stardock Central is telling me. Any other suggestions? Still doesn't change it up for me...

quick question:
I got a double task bar and on the right side the clock and the weekday is being displayed. would it be possible to get the current date to show aswell (as it does on a triple taskbar)? any file I could edit? instructions would greatly be appreciated.

Irid1um, if you have SkinStudio, you can reduce the top and bottom content margins on the system tray a little bit, and that should allow more text to display.

thanks mike
editing the margins didn't quite do it, but I managed to change the clock font (tahoma 14pt now) and I got just what I wanted.

The frames around each window is not the vista transparent windows, could some one tell me how to get the transparent frames?

I just installed the latest beta of WB5, the first release didn't work. Great skin! Everything works fine. The only matter is that the run-command dialog isn't skinned, it just shows the Windows Classis style.
And the minimize window to the systray isn't working.
One last question: are you planning to make a dark version of this? It would be very nice....i just love dark skins.

Well, what can one say, I believe that Kol is working on one with "Round" Start button, but his will have more transparency in Start Menue, the wall is much better, the other one did funny things with my old eyes, could not use it, this is a cracker Mike, maybe, just maybe a bit of transparency in your start menue, maybe not. Today six new skins, like busses, you wait a wee while the along come six together. Thanks for a great skin, Jim.

Mike: Fantastic work with this wonderful windowblind! Excellent work, as always! I like the new Start button and cool effects. I did notice the following behavior on my logoff and shutdown screens:

Notice the overlapping text in both. Not a big deal... just wanted to bring it to your attention...

Thank you again for making and sharing this beautiful skin!!!

alphabyte, you need to get the latest WB build from SDC. It allows the text to be hidden so that only the text I made part of the image will show. Also, there is currently a WB bug that is causing the Logoff image to show on both the Logoff and Shutdown screens. That should be corrected in an upcoming WB build.

Very nice. I like the new wallpaper allot. I really would like to see a compact start menu though. They just look neater and are more aesthetically appealing to me.

Any chance you'll create a version for use with the taskbar at the top of the screen?

hherbzilla, this version should work fine with the taskbar at the top of the screen. Are you having problems with it?

Bender50, either Win2k doesn't support the perpixel menus, or your video card doesn't. I'm not sure how well WB5 works on Win2k.
