would you be able to tell me how you got the vista icons to work, If you hacked the shell32.dll what program is best to use.

You know you can use a cd to boot from & blank the password on any user account including the administrator account. We use it at work once in a while when someone tries ti keep us admins out of the pc they use. If oyu want it pm me & I can send you an iso. Also here is info to recover Link

For a "first skin" it's far from a flop, it's already good and a little more tweeking it will be great.

For a first skin it is not bad at all. I don't think it's much of a flop to tell you the truth. To me it's just missing some stuff. I can't really catch off what it is exactly but when you click all programs on the start menu the words are doubled when it pulls up your programs. But just tweek it a lil' but more and then update it and you my friend are good to go!

For A First skin, it's not bad at all. I really like it. I'm using it now. I like the colors you used. I would love a logon and bootskin to match in the future. Good luck to you.

this is a flop,im sorry but all you did was recolor the start button, the color taskbar items flash, and the log off and shut down screen. And since you used KoL's VistaXP it doesnt take much effort to recolor in skinstudio

i hope you didn't format yet, there are ways of getting the folder back if you use a program like Winternals Admin Pack, it comes with a program called ERD which you can use to reset passwords or permissions on folders, should save you lots of time. Hope this helps!

Uhm no, I said I used it as a template; I HAVE Windows Vista 5112 Beta 1, so I got them myself, BUT since I had to place them myself I just used his alignment code.

If you used your own images then you are fine. If you used Kol's images and just recolored then you are not. Thats all anyone is saying here. If you used any part of Kol's theme then you should have permission from him as well.

Looks too much like VistaXP by Kol. Needs work on the start menu. Take some time to clean it up a bit, maybe get some permissions, if need be and give an update. It's kinda plain, no category view skin, Windows logo on turn off computer panel should match surroundings. Blurred fonts in More Programs.
