Well ***I*** like it! Even without all the bells and whistles of v5. 'specially the "glow". I don't like the glow. I don't like the shadow thingy either. That's what WindowFX is for. Only my opinion.

And here too: Welcome back!

One thing that I consider an error (even though it isn't an 'error'): Aren't most of us used to a mouse down effect on the close/max|restore/min buttons?

Back to the basics isn't all that bad of a thing. Nice work. When I saw the "preview" I thought, "this is something from WB2 or3 era!" It's a reminder of where it all started: style and functionality. Thanks Aleksandr!

What kind of puke-face garbage is this? Great for a 1st skin, but I am wondering how it got such a good rating.

Given the yellow/blue theme, I wonder why the Start Menu highlights in white, which I think looks kind of ugly. Seems it should be either a saturated blue, like you use for highlighting within applications, or yellow. I'm not sure how yellow would look. Other than that, it looks good. Not many good yellow skins around.

I really like this WB, and even if I did not, I would not make rude comments (which reflects badly only the commentater). Yellow is hard to do, and this skin succeeds. We could all wish for subtle changes to suit our own preferences, but it is your creation, and for that I thank you.

Yellow is hard to do

The gold standard [pun intended] for yellow skins remains Essorant's Sinter.

Rude comments notwithstanding, I think this forum could use a lot more criticism, whether it purports to be an artistic assessment or a statement of personal preference. It could only help the skinners and it would help users deepen their appreciation of the designs and the merits. But perhaps there's not much of this because in the end, you are competing, and no one wants to give away trade secrets.
