Never commented about a blind 'til now; but this is brilliant - more so as it's your first go 
The initial load works fine but if you try to reload after switching to the compact version, it unloads
the skin. Otherwise - amazing work.

Very nice work. One thing I would like to see is a thiner taskbar. I think most people prefer the taskbar to match the size of the bar which contains the minimize, expand and close window buttons.

very nice perfect only troubles is if u dont use the compact menu it messes everything up and cant use it

really nice freekin skin man......and i agree that more transparency would make this awesome!!

Wow, thanks eveyone for all you nice comments. I'll try to fix that bug and upload a new version as soon as I can. If anyone has a clue why this would happen please share your thoughts.
Oh, and this truely is my first skin. No bull here. I have no problem creating the graphics and I am skilled with Photoshop. I do mostly photorealistic illustrations but I wanted to try skinning for a change. The most difficulty I had was learning SkinStudio and getting the darn thing to work right, but it was way fun and worth it. I cant wait to start on another skin...after I get this one fixed...
BTW, how can I submit this to the GUI-Olympics?

really nice skin..i love simple skins too, and this is great...i agree with others on the slightly thinner taskbar..also, would like to see a simple glow effect on the min/max/close buttons

There you go. I've tested it on another computer, so hopefully it works for you guys now.
I've also taken consideration on the comments for a thinner taskbar and some transparency, so you should see another update comming soon.

Very nicely done. I will be using this one for some time I am sure. Congrats on all the positive feedback you have received. I am having a problem when I roll it up...a thin white line appears as if the window is not fully closed. I admit I have that problem with another skin and I have tried different resolutions to no avail...anybody?

I like this skin!
My only wish is that the start menu header and footer image be a lot smaller (thinner)
I tried to fix this in Skinstudio but I lost the header completely! It went transparent when I made the compact menu smaller

very nice skin in general..regardless if it's your first or not. transparency would be nice, but not exactly nessessary for this skin...a substyle maybe?
according to previous GUI Olympics rules; since you've uploaded the skin for public use before hand, you can't enter it into the GUI Championships when they start. i would have to assume that would be the case this time around.
