I have found three errors underlined by the operating system at the startUp.
Pop Up of applications that possibly identified damaged file or images.
Some windows are not skinning.
The window of management of My Computer for instance, where the events and the peripheral ones are listed of Windows.............. right clic on My Computer> management.
> Pop Up of some applications with the suggestion to insert again the disk of installation. That of Recovery? ........ for now all works.
I don't have a lot of experience however I don't have intention to use this skin, too many compromises................. the control panel where the visualization is not possible for categories, the notices of Windows, programs that are not loaded at restart.. etc...etc
Sony Vaio, WB 5, Windows XP, 2 Mb Ram, 5,6 CPUs, Ati X600 XT.
More attention!
thanks
Maurice.

Still waiting for someone to address the cssue of the skinned window not being able to cover the entire screen when maximized. There's still a void at the very top border that needs to be filled.
Keep up the good work!

Not to argue, but had that worked, I wouldn't have posted - the only thing to get it to show up in the installed skins list was to change the .uis SkinName entry. This was true for all 3 of my rigs - XPP, XPMCE & Win2K - and I've run into it a bunch of times before with other skins.

I erred about which section the SkinName= entry is in; it is actually in the [TitlebarSkin] section, not the [Personality] section. Sorry 'bout that. The rest still accurately describes my experience.

however you could improve the log off/shutdown buttons in the start panel, you've gone to the trouble of drawing them but the user can't use them, you have to move the cursor to the left of those images to see the text for those commands that is hidden.
Also, an error is experienced when you go to the control panel which isn't good, a wb theme shouldn't ever create system errors - I would almost think it's dangerous to install & run your theme if the windows os reports dul parser errors when someone opens up the control panel. Before uploading a theme to the site, you should test it vigorously instead of having us download & test it for you - we're looking for finished skins on this site, not test skins. Skinstudio has a built in skin tester which validates your work, if you had used it you would see that your skin produces alot of errors. I try to keep my errors down to less than a half dozen before uploading a skin to the site and even then I make sure to resolve those problems if I can and make sure they're not fatal errors prone to producing system problems.
You apparently have great skills because the look & feel of this skin is quite good - the metal look is unique & seamless, you just seem a little lazy in testing out your skin. Fix the errors, test out the skin by viewing it's actions in all windows component areas and then upload the update to the site when you feel confident that it's near error free. I would be happy to download it again and use it after that point. The control panel system error that I experienced & mentioned above is a deal breaker for me, I would be reluctant to download your skins again if that is what I have to look forward to. This criticism is constructive only, not meant to attack you or offend in any way - hopefully you put it to good use.
