Great skin... A pleasue to use. One question... I'm using the shadow version for WB 5, but I'm not getting any shadows on menus, unless the shadow is so slight that I can't make it out. Is there suppose to be shadows on the menus? Thanks, Art |
A: the drop down menu shadows are there, they are simple, just 1 x 1 pixel cause if I make it bigger
its could look bad in the mouse over state for the first and last items.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to skins, but I really like this one. Nice job! Bee tee dub, what icon set did you use for the preview picture? |
A: Default XP ones

Amazing skin, but with Firefox it causes the pages to jiggle. Is there a way I can fix this? Awesome skin, but is there a way I can get it to work with Firefox without it jiggling the pages? Currently I just have Firefox being ignored by Windowblinds |
A: Firefox is hard coded and have own skinning engine and can make some Firefox themes
conflict with some WindowBlinds skins, you can try to change your Firefox theme, use the
default one, or configure WindowBlinds to not skin Firefox (under the Per Applications
Settings in WindowBlinds configurations).

A few people have mentioned pink edges on certain windows. I am having a similar glitch- a little pink corner shows up on certain windows, but only in Illustrator and Photoshop (haven't noticed it in other apps or windows). Also, a few menus in Illustrator have a "double exposure" look when highlighting. These may be problems specific to Adobe apps, but I haven't noticed this problem with other skins. Anyway, here is a link if you'd like to see what it looks like: Link (http://home.comcast.net/~mstrieby/matt_strieby_samples.html) Apart from these very minor glitches, it's the best-looking skin I've seen in a while and I plan to keep on using it. |
A: I just noticed that and found its was a painting problem between WB and the skin colors in the BMP version of the
border (used as child windows for the programs that show the problem)
Its fixed and Im updating the skin in some minutes, thank you for the feedback.

I guess I'm missing something, but I can't figure out how to "Roll Up/Down" the windows with this skin. How do I go about doing that?

Unfortunately with the new updatings of WB 5.01b[b].004 Mozilla Firefox is not Skinned perfectly.
This doesn't concern only your skins but all, or almost, the versions recently published.
Using the version 4.5 of yours fantastic skins the problem is resolved, but not with the 5 version.
Do we have to wait for a new updating to be able to normally use Mozilla?
Do you have some information?
Ever had also this problem with 5imple.
thanks
Maurice.

I report you that Mozzilla Firefox is not perfectly skinned, after last update of WB 5.01b[b].004.
This only with your version 5 and some others version 5 abuot the last skins.
The same whit 5imple now.
If I use the version 4.5 of WB of your FANTASTIC skin all is ok.
Do you know this problem?
Do this problem is only a problem of mine?
Can you tell me if my situation is normal?
Tanks
Maurizio.

Your skin is simply fantastic.
Unfortunately however with the last version of WB the beta 5.01b[b].004 the configurations 5 not Skinned perfectly Mozilla Firefox 1.5.
The same thing for 5imple and many other skins.
Only the skins for the version 4.5 correctly work and it are a serious problem, yours too.
Such to think that, if not resolved, WB is not more interesting.
Mozilla is the browser that I always use.
Are you to the current of the problem?
I have sent a notification to Stardock however, I hope...........
Finally again 5 stars for everybody!
Maurice.

But they were not positioned for last and I, on 90 in total, could not understand that they had been recorded.
The problem with Mozilla Firefox is resolved.
It is 5imple, enough press on the button "minimize the window."
The window returns to place and, also after the restart, the window of Mozilla remains perfectly skinned.
(for the one who served the solution).
Excuse me for my English.
ciao
Maurizio.

Eventually try also clicking the Maximize button on the FF window and see if that fixes it.
