When you want the substyle to have a different start menu, after you create the new substyle you need to click "taskbar" in the navigation tree in the left hand side of the window, then over on the right click on the word file, and then below, in the "value" text entry field you can change the name from the default (XPStuff.xp )to say XPStuff2.xp then alter the size of the userpane and bottom bar (250 works fine)

Ellaborate please.. |
1 open your skin in skinstudio
2 create a new substlye call it Eminence CX
3 on the left hand side you of SS should see the explorer tab click once on TaskBar
4 on the right hand side of SS in the Section tab you will see the word file an Eminence/XPSuff.xp click this once
5 in the bottom window next to the word Value: it will read Eminence/XPSuff.xp just change this to Eminence/XPSuff2.xp and save
6 now you have 2 substyles Eminence and Eminence CX
7 open Eminence CX and change the size of the user pane to 250
8 save and its done
hope this helps a bit more when you work it out you will kick yourself, I did
Edit oops should read post 50 properly

1) Caption Buttons...they just don't do it for me. The rest of the skin is original...and then you got caption buttons that are almost directly from vista. Please use the same smoothness you did on the rest of the skin on the caption buttons, they are a key focal-point of a skin.
2) Shellstyles. They need TONS of work. Again, it looks as if you put a lot of hard work into the main part of the skin...and when you got to shellstyles, you got a little lazy. You should really try going back and putting some polish on them.
I would rate this skin a 9.5 if the above two things were addressed. Right now...it's a 7.
I really really look foward to your skinning...your first skin was pretty good, this one is great...can't wait for what's next. You have an eye for this stuff.

I have not encountered this problem before. I have this skin on my laptop and desktop, and neither have this problem. Weird. I know what the "problem" is though and it should be fixed in the next update.

I'm also glad that this skin extends the borders of maximized windows so I can just slam my cursor to the edge and immediately hit the scrollbar as some skins tend to move it one or two pixels away.
A very good job. I'll be looking forward to more skins from you.
