I really do like the coloring BUT I have to change the message box font color
to something like white and so the "window color" in order for me to see certain fonts, for instance the the "advanced" settings for windowblinds using Windows appearence dialog. Then I think it's great. Is this because of my video card or what?

Might be that your monitor brightness settings are on the low side. You might want to play around with your brightness/contrast settings. Everybody's computers are different. What looks good on my computer just might not look bright enough for yours. Hard to tell.
