MikeB I've used your StealthOS for over three years straight and long before alpha blending became a common term, so I'm one of your biggest fans. This design is as flawless as your other creations my friend. Never mind what the unknowing or unaware may attempt to criticize (something they really don't understand no doubt).
You are a true innovator of your craft and your work is simply priceless!
Perfect for everyday use as with all work for this extremely gifted designer. And a must have for any collector who UNDERSTANDS and appreciates fine art, technical engineering and beautiful designs! (didn't mean to yell there)

I've used Cyclops with alot of success and I find that ARES is just as nice if not better.
It's clean, not too bright (why someone would call this 'goth' is beyond me) and is something I can use on a daily basis without hurting my eyes, I spend alot of time staring at my computer screens - something that doesn't leave them tired & sore at the end of the day is always welcome.
Congratulations a great windowblinds project, don't pay attention to others that "just don't get it", this skin is meant for people who do get it.

Mike you should have won the best skin in the GUI championship with this. This skin is perfection. You and Adni18 are the Gods of skinning. There are some up and coming people, JJ Ying is at the top, but I don't think you get the credit you deserve. I love this skin because the glass effect works so effortlessly and at the same time is very subtle. It is a dark skin but no where is there any visual problem. Everything is skinned so it is a complete make over of the GUI. You have created a real work of art here and I must say that it I think it is the best WB ever created.

Hey, a2tomm? If you are a gifted educator, expounding your wisdom and apparent love for your students in the technological arts, how is it you don't realize that you are breaking the first commandment of Internet Etiquette? Thou shall not use all caps during forums, chats and other written transmissions; it is akin to shouting IRL (that's [i]n [r]eal [l]ife to you, noob). And don't try to tell us that you do not teach the founding lessons of protocol...it's almost inherent!

I know this is a little late for a comment, I did a system restore and needed to download this skin again so I took upon myself to browse over the comments in which I do with all my skins I download, however to a2tomm: This skin was not to be made with bright cheerfull colors, this skin was submitted to the Gui Champs competitions and this skin was judged amongst the best usable dark-skin category. I don't understand why you think the star rating sucks for a lack of a better word, the rating is used and decided on which skin (any skin - including screenshots), for usability, little to no bugs, visibility, and hard work, the judges here can automatically determine which skin(s) posseses all of the aforementioned components, so if you want a high-rating put your ass and foot into a skin. For a person who teaches kids especially about computers, should know what a star-system is and why it should apply to certain applications. I think you need to go back to school and learn how not to be an idiot. If you think this is a personal attack it may well be.

The name of that Icon Pack is 'The Preface' by Darockx. I can't remember where I got 'em though. If I didn't get 'em from here I got 'em from skinbase.org. One of the two. By the way Mike, this skin is sick. ��
