Chasbo, there's nothing to update in the XP skin. It already takes advantage of everything WB can do on XP. XP doesn't have an Explorer info pane or command bar, so therefore they can't be made transparent. Vista has some new technology behind it that allows WB to make the Explorer backgrounds transparent, but that technology just isn't present in XP. Vista has been out for a year now, and it is XP's replacement. It shouldn't come as a suprise that it offers features that the old OS doesn't.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS SKIN!! I did and it messed up my whole computer. I had to do a system backup to get all my files back. And no, I did not have a virus, my computer is very healthy.

miss_prinecss2244, lets not spread misinformation here. There's nothing about this skin that is going to wipe anyone's system. I suspect there was more to your problem than downloading this. A skin is just a folder full of images and a couple text files, after all. There aren't any executable programs involved or anything.

Have been using this wonderful style since my first installation of WB (Nov 07). This update is perfect! And needless to say that every visual style by Mike Bryant is a perfection. To be honest, it's hard for me to decide which one to use every time... Ares, Aura, Optix, Sirrus...??? So I choose one randomly and the most time I spend in front of my screen is admiring the fine and rich details of Mike's creations!

I can HEAR just fine or am I just overly sensitive? That said MikeB314, this is a fine skin and it is in my permanent library. You have just the right touch, not too heavy, certainly not too dark. There are a lot of skinners out there who achieve some creative magic, but are just too edgy for daily use... I'll stick with syles like yours anyday. Thanks!�

A2tomm, I really hope you're not teaching Children to use CAPS or a computer the way you do; which is irresponsible! If you don't like a blind, just say so constructively without sarcasm and Huge Caps to show your displeasure....these blinds take a lot of work to do and yes, these people have REAL JOBS TOO! There are plenty of light and dark themes to satisfy everyone. Mike, very nice Blind making good use of WB6 elements and style; keep up the good work!
