hehe, to insinuate this skin is a ripoff of some kind is actually funny for all those who have been frequenting this site for long time....it looks quite nice and is a completely original skin .

How did this skin receive 4 stars? It's not THAT good. It's O.K. I'll be the last one that says it's bad. 4 stars in my opinion would make him a Master skinner, and this is definetly not the case.

very subtle and well considered skin. Everything very readable, just the right size, really one of the best skins I've used in a while.
Yes, it doesn't trumpet its wares but a very superior piece of work which I can really "live' with.

It would have been a great skin if the window background was also black. Very few skins dare to be true dark themed (few exceptions that come to mind are GT3 and Multipass Carbon. That way it could live up to its name.
But sadly everyone takes the easy route and makes bg color white with black text. How unoriginal for a skin called NOIX (spin on Noir)

I've got several things to say... each man/woman to his/her own. Each skin clicks with the user, just like cars, cellphones, computers and lovers, etc. It's a little 'mono' in colors for me, I've downloaded it nevertheless. It IS great. I just like a little excitment and colors. I've got so many skins that I have to catch up by using one of the each day. Unto each artist to his/her own unique style. That's what I like about WG7, it's so clear & organized that I can better 'see' the substyles, colors, textures and so forth much better as well as having a little more flexibility with the skins. Seeing this post made me want to look up the NeoTouch! And as I said each to his/her own, white backgrounds work for me better. I have bad eyes and use my Windows to study things. Finally, I'm no skinner but I have good eyes for tastes & styles as long as it clicks me...

Here's a few more comments... after using the skin more & more, I was surprised at how a 'mono' colored skin could be that clear and enticing! My only constructive criticism is the min/max/cancel buttons... being a little too small and perhaps could be adjusted to match the theme of the skin... maybe a bit bigger and more square, eh? I once made the suggestion to ICU (eyes skin) to have the IE back/forward changed to eyes and it was a perfect final touch to it! I still love that skin to this day... among SO MANY TALENTED SKINNERS OUT THERE... NEVER, NEVER, NEVER A DULL MOMENT IN WINDOWSBLINDS!!!!!

I haven't been changing the titlebar buttons because I want to keep the skin simple and not have distracting elements, especially in the titlebar, because the window's content should be what the user is focusing on. I myself have no problems seeing the buttons.
