Great skin. Unfortunately, it has the same issue with the taskbar on top of the screen that Ceirous did.

Thank you all for your input.
I just finished the update, and I also made a wall without text as Ooberman suggested, which should be up soon.
Once again, thankyou for the comments, and I'm glad you all like Chocolate.

And thank you for being open to constructive criticism and then fixing those elements which were pointed out to you. This is a fabulous skin that not only looks great but is very functional as well; a real plus in my book. Thanks for sharing your work.

The fix for the start menu in xp home looks good, but still does not line up when you compact the menu

I like your skin a lot, but have problems with the taskbar at the top of the screen. The start button is "clipped" at the bottom of the task bar - not rounded like it should be...and the right side of the start menu is "missing" both in compact and regular modes

Ah, thanks, I see that. I've just fixed that and it will put that in the next update, including cherry, mint, and white versions.
So stay tuned...

I can't edit comment #28, so after a reboot, the bottom of the start button is now there, but there's a thin line even with the bottom of the taskbar, maybe 3 or 4 pixels wide, that cuts across the button, where my wallpaper image shows through - makes it look like the button is divided into two segments. The problem with the start menu being cut off on the right side disappeared after a restart though.

There is a bug in your skin. If you're in IE7 maximized and you open a link that opens a "new" IE7 window rather then a tab in "window" format (i.e. not maximized) the window DOES NOT get skinned. You have to maximize it and for it to skin it. Please fix this.

Fred, I didn't see your comment before I posted, that's why I didn't respond. But, I do see what you're talking about. I've tried fixing that problem, but I have not had any luck with it yet. So, if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.
Derek,
Make sure your WindowBlinds settings allow for wallpapers to be applied with the skin. (see image below) As for the icon package... there isn't one associated with the skin, so you'll have to download one yourself. To get the icons to work you'll also need Icon Packager. (WindowBlinds only applies skins, not icons) You can get that here: Link

JRSCCivic98,
I don't think that's a problem with my skin. I tried opening links in a 'new window' with IE7, and the windows were always skinned. I never had the problem your talking about. But, if you've tried the same thing with other windowblinds skins, and it worked, then I will try my best to find out what the problem is.

^^^ Yeah, it doesn't happen if you right-click and then choose open new window. It happens with some links that trigger a new window. I think I was on like Yahoo news or something. The "open in new window" skins fine, so you won't find it that way. Another thing that I see (maybe it's me) is that the buttons for the favories on the left of IE7, when you "mouse over" but not click to light up the button, the icon doesn't is not centered with the button. I don't seem to have this visual issue with other skins. Otherwise it looks good.

This skin is great except I am having a problem with the task bar disappearing when it is at the top of the screen (I like to have it at the top and set to auto hide). If you can get the task bar to be visible, this skin would be one of my favorites.

I thought I fixed that... Have you tried deleting the old version first then applying the updated one?

Derek: I'm glad it's working for you now.

JRSCCivic98: Thanks for the clarification. I'll see what I can do about that.
