I just finished the update, and I also made a wall without text as Ooberman suggested, which should be up soon.
Once again, thankyou for the comments, and I'm glad you all like Chocolate.

The fix for the start menu in xp home looks good, but still does not line up when you compact the menu |
Ah, thanks, I see that. I've just fixed that and it will put that in the next update, including cherry, mint, and white versions.
So stay tuned...

I can't edit comment #28, so after a reboot, the bottom of the start button is now there, but there's a thin line even with the bottom of the taskbar, maybe 3 or 4 pixels wide, that cuts across the button, where my wallpaper image shows through - makes it look like the button is divided into two segments. The problem with the start menu being cut off on the right side disappeared after a restart though. |
Fred, I didn't see your comment before I posted, that's why I didn't respond. But, I do see what you're talking about. I've tried fixing that problem, but I have not had any luck with it yet. So, if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.
Derek,
Make sure your WindowBlinds settings allow for wallpapers to be applied with the skin. (see image below) As for the icon package... there isn't one associated with the skin, so you'll have to download one yourself. To get the icons to work you'll also need Icon Packager. (WindowBlinds only applies skins, not icons) You can get that here: Link
JRSCCivic98,
I don't think that's a problem with my skin. I tried opening links in a 'new window' with IE7, and the windows were always skinned. I never had the problem your talking about. But, if you've tried the same thing with other windowblinds skins, and it worked, then I will try my best to find out what the problem is.

Derek: I'm glad it's working for you now.
JRSCCivic98: Thanks for the clarification. I'll see what I can do about that.
