I'm not a huge fan of transparency in the start menu panel (but that's not because it's doesn't look good in this or any other theme, I just tend to have way too many icons on my desktop so the transparency just shows the clutter and mixes with the start menu items making it hard to read, if I stop displaying my desktop shortcuts it looks great).
BTW - I like glossy skins, maybe you can come out with a glossy version of this one
(I said that because of the comment in this skin's description, actually I like glossy skins, don't shy away from using them, I'm sure your downloading user base would appreciate you for it too!)
Congrats on a job well done!

Neither am I. I personally use the default or the simple ray sub which are both opaque. I made the transparent subs for users who took time to give feedback during the WIP phase. Initially I didn't want to go below 90% opacity on anything as to me that is the distraction threshold for visual noise from the underlying windows. I was persuaded by the 'downloading user base' to make it more transparent. Blame them not me
By the way, I've since made improvements to the transparent subs---transparent menus, more glow on the min/max/close, removed that 1 pixel edge error on the start panel. I will update in a few days.

Is it this skin? or a windowblinds/vista problem?
Thanks, I really like this skin.

first skin I try (on Vista) and my Media Player doesn't work |
i don't do anything special. it's just a skin for WindowBlinds. is it only media player? maybe you could exclude it in WB. i wish i could be of more help, but i don't plan on installing Vista anytime soon (very happy with XP + WB for the time being)
