Menu is trying to mimic vista in that there are NO ICONS down the right of the start menu!
The business with the shutdown text can be resolved by using the app found in the zip download at deviantart.

Same problems as nyteinc and Dr J - I have XP Pro also. I'm probably being stupid but I couldn't find the readme.txt file mentioned (in either the downloaded .wba or the install directory) so I didn't follow the instructions!
Edit - the readme was in the zip from Deviantart site. So perhaps I'm not being stupid!! I tried the tweak for the text and it didn't work for me - wanted me to start inserting XP disks to restore files

Awsome skin, can't get my eyes off my brand new XP 
Just one thing though: I tried the "Start-button fix" I found on your Deviantart package, and it screwed-up my explorer.exe, I had to scavenge it from my other pc to bring it back alive... You might want to check your program's code somehow

Very nice skin, its become my default this week. Have you thought about cutting down the start menu a bit? I don't mean a compact menu the way it normally gets discussed, but even decreasing the margins and spacing. On my setup (1024x768), it took up over 50% of my vertical screen size

Dude the skin is dope...but, there's always a but i applied that patch for the text on the "turn off computer" and "log off" buttons in the start menu and it worked but that just until the next logoff/logon, after that the text is back...i have windows media vision...but anyway i think the skin looks just as good with that text on the buttons, if you would just move them a lil'bit to the left cause right now the turnoff computer buttun is not whole is just "turn off com"

1. There should be no Icons in the Startpanel. Thats what the skin is about and what makes it speciala and less crowded! Please READ ME's first (in the zip from deviantart) and look at the preview.
2. To solve the startmenu text problems just apply the patch in the ZIP !
Here you can only upload wba files (which is a pain in the ass) so get yourself the wallpapers from the "here i can get whole skin" which links to da and by the way the proper solution as there are 3 Logons with it too.
For all ppl who ask for the icons, check my da account and the skins comments and youll see there will be another DELUXE release wich feautres even more substyles, etc., which you will have to pay a small fee for.
.. and dont understand why ppl cant look and state obvious things as bugs, not reading my readme's and complaining.

Awesome work continuum2, you made a nice use of glow effect around the skin, it's a very usable skin.
I miss the small toolbar icons and would be cool have different progress animations for each task (copy, move, delete, download, etc) but it's a personal opinion only and it's don't have a hard impact in the skin usability, congrats for the great skin.

Very nice skin. It is nice to look at and works nicely. However, I could not find the wallpapers to go with it. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help me find those, I would really like to use them with this great skin.

You need to go to the deviantart website as linked above (links to http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/38659376/) and then click on the download icon, which will get you the zip in which the wallpapers are.
