Ok, here's the problem. I really really like both this skin and the Lena skin, but they share a common problem. In the start panel, the list on the right containing My Documents, My Computer, etc... has the icon and a couple letters from the text that would be there on a normal start panel. I'm wondering if it doesn't have something to do with XP Home's "Turn Off Computer" text extending the menu out too far to the right? I know that the XP Pro version has "Shut Down" instead. I don't know a lot about skinning or how the whole normal-compact start menu thing works, but judging by your preview with XP Pro and my panel using XP Home, it's all I can think of.
It would be great if you could either find a way around this or make a full size start menu. Both of these skins are far too nice to just toss aside because of a misaligned panel.

Looks great but it needs a full version to go along with the compact.

As said, amazing work but yes a full version is needed (esp for vista).

nyteinc, go to properties, appearance, effects, set ICONS to large, text letters will dissapear. Jim

Though that may work, it's not really a good solution. A person may prefer the smaller icons so should be able to use them with this skin. Another thing, when more than one window is open, I see no difference in the tabs on the taskbar for the active one and the inactive ones.
If these two things could be fixed this skin would be perfect. �

Compact start panel does not work well with Vista at all since the right side in Vista has no icons.

i liked this wb the first time, but it needed lots of polishing. . . you have fixed everything and it is FANTASTIC--I would really love to have the full sized start panel, though.

I had the same problem.... just changed the icon size to 48px and that fixed it

Hi, is there any way I can "graft" the full sized start menu from ClearXP 1.0 into 1.1.
I'm toiling away in the latest SkinStudio but my attempts are resulting in disaster.

Very nice skin.�� I just changed the higlighted background color to a lighter one because the white lettering on that very dark background was unreadable to me.

This is phenomenal! Any chance you could pleeeeeeeeeeease add a full sized start panel. As hawkeye666 points out above, compact start panels don't work quite right with Vista, otherwise the skin is flawless
