I would appreciate some advice. When I dl purchased master skins to my xp laptop goes to WB6 no drama. Same thing dl to my vista pc - says no uis file in dl. Won't go to WB. Thanks. I'd love to put Optix on my Vista PC.

That is very strange, Wildharp. You are taking the Optix.wba file out of the zip file first, right? I assume so since it worked on XP.

Comment 130 says to go to wincustomize settings. When I dl'd I got the older version.

If you have the August version, then you have the latest. The skin itself was not updated today, it just got marked as Vista Ready/WB6 Ready today since those are new features on this website. I updated the skin for WindowBlinds 6 back in August when the WB6 beta was released.

With Vista, this is my favorite skin overall as almost everything works right. BUT.. I can't really use it due to the larger than normal shadow that extends beyond the frames. Aside from being very confusing when switching between windows, etc., it uses considerably more screen space that way. Is there any way to reduce that to the default shadow?

I love the skin.
However, under Vista, I don't have the user picture in the menu (as is shown on the preview). How do I enable this?

The Carnifex, make sure you selected the Vista subskin in your WindowBlinds configuration. The XP subskin has the user icon hidden.
