Kperry, first be sure you downloaded Sirus_01022008.zip. The sidebar is built in to the WindowBlinds skin, rather than residing in its own folder like past sidebar skins have, so "Use skin defined sidebar" is the correct selection to make. On the Visual Styles tab, you may need to click the Skin Options link and select Rebuild List. But with the sidebar being built in, I don't think that should be necessary.

Thanks Mike, I now get the Sirus sidebar option but not the gadgets within the bar, ie..the Sirus Clock, Calender, and Weather gadget. Not even under options for each individual gadget to change to the one in the screenshot.
I have also tried "use skin defined sidebar" with the same results.
...sorry for being a noob on this, but that is exactly what I am on the Sidebar..lol

I didn't download it or anything but the screenshot looks....WOW. I want that. windowsblinds hates my computer so I can't use it but this is awesome!!!

Mike, thanks for a beautiful skin .. just purchased this one and optix as well ... I could'nt justify spending so little on the creditcard, so I bought two of yours.

Hey Mike I have been having trouble getting the sidebar gadgets to work. It says "Problem accessing DesktopX Sidebare Framework." I tried using the latest beta version and also the latest stable version of DesktopX I dont know whats happening here. I did get the standealone obbjects working but I dont want to have extra thing in my system tray open. It would be nice to get them working in the windows sidebar.

Tellamenos, from what other people have told me, 64bit Vista seems to have problems with the sidebar gadgets. All I can do is hope the next update to DesktopX will fix it.

Very nice and professional skin. Optix and Sirus are IMO first skins worth to purchase WindowBlinds...Keep up!!!

evejenz, I didn't create any icons for this, but I recommend the Alpha 3 icons by mrSkope. https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=1669&libid=2
GalaxianUK, I would just let the wallpaper stretch to your resolution. It's just a bunch of wavy lines, so it doesn't really distort the way a picture of something would. Alternatively, you could open it in an image editor and resize/crop it.

Can you please make in XP version similar startmenu like in Vista version of Sirus ?
With hiddent places icons and with user picture...That would be great...
Also i would really appreciate if entire Xp version would use default XP Tahoma 8 font. It simly looks more consinstant and is much better readable than Arial 8...
I thing Vista version is much nicer and i wish XP version will be similar as more as possible with darker explorer toolbar backround and soft shaded buttons/text...

One problem though, you have updated it with the Sidebar now. I deleted the Sirus, had Stardock send me an update to all my downloads...re-downloaded Sirus...No Sidebar within.
All I get is the Convex, Diamond, and Quest. I tried with "Use skin defined" to no avail.
Am I missing something?
