tropicalgirl2 - Thank you for your kind comments, I am afraid I am unable to help you with the purple at the bottom of your screen, it is not meant to be that way. I do not have Vista myself, although I hope to upgade when SP1 is released, this skin has not been tested on Vista. so the skin is probably not compatible with it .I do not use the Windows taskbar, I use the Odject Docks taskbar dock, I have just activated the Windows taskbar & it is just like the one in my screenshot.

It needs work but you have a lot of good ideas...your buttons look good and the color scheme is fine. The start menu has a bit of odd tiling on bottom right. The yellow font doesn't really do the start menu justice. All programs menu has no mouseover - unless you intended it to be that way. Animated start button looks great. Windowblind skinning is not easy and your doing fantastic. Keep up the good work.

Fairyy - Thanks for the constructive comments. I was not happy with the tiling at the bottom of the start menu, I will try to sort it out, I am not too good with colours (colour blind) but will try a few different ones on the places section of the startmenu. The all programs menu is supposed to have a mouseover, brain was not in gear when I was clearing unwanted files from the folder before I made the WBA package, I have just found the file in the recycle bin!! I usually run the skin I am working on on my computer all the time so that I can pick up such problems, but that does not help put my brain back in gear.

The dreaded bright pink on Vista... tropicalgirl is correct. Otherwise very nice. Will check back for an udate. Good work for a color blind guy.

This is nice work! I'm just working on my second skin as well so I'm not sure how valid my comments are. I like the buttons outlined with brick, it ties them in nicely. One thing you might consider is changing the yellow font on the start panel to white or something a little easier to see & maybey a smaller font for that and the task buttons as well. It's nice that you made something original and didn't
