Mega - works for me on XP, but it has that funky, non functional search bar on the start menu that crowds the log off and shut down buttons. I'm a big fan of clean, simple, glassy skins that use glow buttons for opening, closing and maximizing windows. Glad to see the guys from Deviant starting to put their work here too.

It certainly is glassy. A bit too much for my tastes, can't even read the right side of the start menu unless I have all windows minimized or not behind the start menu. Otherwise its a very fine skin.

If you want the glassy features of Vista on Basic Vista, then this is the skin to get.

To VargentheOne, that seems to be a problem of this skin, it crowds the start menu in XP and so we can't hit the right button so it doesn't give us the normal actions available to XP users. It's a great skin but this problem makes it unusable to me.

Jalida you need to patch windows so that it gets rid of the text that says "logOff" and "TurnOffComputer" it is like that on most vista skins.You can get the patch here.It is very simple just click it to remove the text and when you want the text back just click it again. http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=427314

This skin looks great on XP, but on Vista the Start Panel Logoff area doesn't look good because the Start Search area and the Standby/Lock/Arrow buttons are smaller on Vista than they are in the skin. Also, at the top of the Start Panel, the position of the User Icon doesn't line up properly, so the User Icon as well as the Vista icons that appear there when you mouse over items on the right side of the Start Panel are off center and don't look good at all. With a little adjustment, I think this skin would look great on both Vista and XP.

Amazing skin, sagorpirbd. Any way you can make a dedicated XP version that corrects the logff/search overlap but most importantly, the icons on the right side of the start menu for control panel, my documents, search, etc. that are partially hidden by the list of programs??? Personally, this is exactly what I'm looking for (sounds like I'm not alone) and I'd be forever grateful! Thanks. Dave

Hi sagor, im new here and this is what i wrote to nutch (creator of blackglassvista) if you could take the time to read what i have put it would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Hi "butch123" have to say first a good skin but, could you possibly make it work for XP...the "Blueglassvista" skin works PERFECTLY with xp, which is what i use, which is cool but, i dont like the start menu being see through, would love to be fully black, and the taskbar to be fully black....maybe i should just ask the creator of blueglass vista to do this, but if you could give it a go....if you willl, n e ways, by the way i am a new member so im not sure of what i can and cant ask! lol

oh yeah sagor, only two teeny lil things on your blueglass skin that if were corrected would be beautiful,(in XP) when i use the appearence settings in XP to make my icons large, in the start menu, on the right side with "my computer, my documents etc.." the icon JUST shows at the left of them, would like that to be sorted if possible, and the user account picture is only JUST not aligned correctly (as i can see the green sagor logo just under it).............
