Hey...this looks pretty nice. Been waiting for this movie to come out for ages...Christian Bale, yum.

Sad though...the wallpapers on that site are soo small, nothing for my res (1920x1200). FAIL

Hello Bebi....I'm sorry to hear about your wallpaper woes....Try downloading an app called display fusion, it's for dual monitors but I think it has a single monitor feature and it does well resizing non native sizes. Mindkill...I'm really bumbed to hear that, that was one of the issues(besides the taskbar that I really worked on. It works on my system ( I dual installed XP to make sure) so I'm not sure what's up. I'll look again though. Thank you Butch, Duece and Sarge it's good to hear from ya. Will anybody with XP let me know if it's installing alright on there system?

I really, really want this blind to work for XP. Some of it looks great, but in other areas I still have issues. The taskbar is one. I have my taskbar automatically hide and I don't see the icons using this blind. Also, when the taskbar hides icons, none of these show when I use this blind. Hope this helps.

Bkmitch did you use the dropdown menu in windowblinds to chose the version that is meant for xp?Also did you make sure that you deleted the older version completely before installing this one? Sorry for the stupid questions but before i was having the exact same problems you are but this version fixed it for me.Good Luck.

The xp version of this is magnificent. The only problem I have is I don't know how to move the "Turn Off Computer" item to the left to line it up properly. I was able to line up the "All Programs" easily but don't know what section of SkinStudio the "turn off" item is in. I just started using SkinStudio so any help would be appreciated.

I really, really appreciate your re-working this for XP. Having to do a version for each o/s is kind of a bit much and I appreciate your efforts. Love the skin, been patiently waiting for it after I saw the Vista version. Running it on XPSP2 and it seems to be working fine, haven't spent a lot of time with it but the more obvious things (taskbar, systray) seem to be fixed. I tried to reproduce the systray icon issue with the autohiding taskbar issue that bkmitch refers to in #11 above, but it works fine for me. (Tried setting autohide after loading the skin, then changed the skin and applied autohide and reloaded the skin, tried it with taskbar lock on and off, I didn't get it to break - works ok for me.) I had already deleted your Vista version from before, and I just installed your fonts and the skin, and no problems. So thanks again for the extra effort. And, back to basics, Nice friggin' skin!

Thank you everyone! I love this Site! BK...I'm really sorry your having problems...Did you try the solution outlined in DaveRIs comment 15? (Thanks Dave by the way!) Make sure you go into your Windowblinds folder and delete any instance of the skin before installing the new version, and make sure you select the XP version. Could you post a shot of the problem your having so I might get a better look at it? Patch....thanks for the compliment, I tried to get that to line up so many times & I just could not get it to work. I think I will have to modify the start panel itself to take care of that but I'm not sure how many times I can re-upload this skin. I'll try one more update so if there is anything else please let me know.

Thanks for your quick response. If by some chance you can't upload a start panel update I very much appreciate the effort. With the turn off computer being so far to the right it also pulls an area of the more programs area to the area below the start button. Fixed or not I will use this windowblind as it is the best I've seen in a while.

Drzues, I'm speachless. The Vista blind is just fantastic. I love the color scheme, the fonts and textures, the visual design...and the speed of the blind: it's FAST! As I work with it, I keep discovering clever details that make the user experience a delight. It's clear that you put a lot of thought and design sense into this stellar offering. One minor "gotcha"...when hovering over the ALL PROGRAMS button on the Start Menu, the darkened background extends to the left beyond the frame of the button. If you could fix that one distraction, the blind would be perfect! Masterful work...and a gift to the community. THANK YOU.

Sorry about the blank comment above. For some reason this site isn't working right for me in Firefox. At any rate, wanted to mention the problem with the systray but after reading comment 11 by deuce I had to smack myself in the forehead. Everything is beautiful with the exception of 'all programs' not being fully in the oval but I can live with that.

The original worked great for me in vista but now with the update the start menu will not appear when the start button is pushed. Before installing the update I used WB to delete the old version.
