I support skinning, I support freedom of speech, The skin, although nice in concept is badly constructed. Being a new skinner, I for one forgive that, but If you want my advice, try to put a skin together better before uploading, you'll recieve a better welcome.... Having said that.. Go McCain-*-Palin ! �

Sorry but I'm inclined to believe that that this skin was designed specifically to invoke this kind of divisiveness. To claim that this is simply an expression of creativity and be surprised by the reactions here seems a bit dishonest to me. I'm certainly not going to advocate pulling a skin for political reasons but lets be honest about its intent. Anyone been to any political forums lately? One learns to duck for cover after every post. FYI I would expect similar reactions from a skin dripping with McCain support.

FYI... Obaba is for abortion,when a doctor performs an abortion he jabs a pair of surgical sizzors into the back of the live babys head and wiggles it around to scramble its brain and the whole time the baby is kicking and screaming! Its horrible and i dont see how anybody can condone it! anyway its good that you are trying to skin ,its ok for your 1st time.

Okay...it's a windows blind with a brand logo and some buggers head plasted on it. What's the fuss? I don't see anyone kicking up a storm about the Coca Cola brand blinds, or certain lighter brand blinds. As stated, there is numerous political and religious blinds on Wincustomize, so cool it. The blind looks nice, very original with the changing of the border shapes. I've been waiting a while for someone to try something new. Kitty seemed to be getting close but never quite got there. This, on the other hand, is something very different. Touch up the borders and then release how you did it? Or make a non-political blind. Only reason I won't download it is because I don't want anyones ugly mug splashed on my desktop when I turn on my computer. Gah!

Whats next? A religious skin? Please I don't think this is the place to post this stuff.
The Sistine Chapel ceiling, painted by Michelangelo between 1508 and 1512, is one of the most renowned artworks ever... and wouldn't you know it, it has a bit of a religious theme to it?! WOW!!!! That's weird!!!! What's wrong with religious skins? Religious people can't have religious themed skins? Religious people can't appreciate art? How about all the 666 & devil/hell themed skins - I don't hear anyone complaining about those, I guess those would be more acceptable? Seriously people, we need to lighten up. Skins with varying content: politics, religion, rice krispies, etc. are all good. Just remember, even if a skin doesn't apply to your specific tastes doesn't mean it won't be someone else's favorite.

Nice try on your WB skin. Needs more polish to it. No comment on the political side of it, to grown up for that stuff (yes, I still believe in etiquette ). That being said lets bring on the Halloween skins...wooohooo!!!

Build what you want skin what you want! Now I would say you took on a very tough type of borders for your skin ,my advice remember that the windows frames(borders) has to resize from as small as about 120 pixels wide and 75 tall up to however big the screen res. is so make sure they are smooth at all sizes!If you have to remake some graphics go ahead we all make them 2,3 4,5, 250 times

Ok, personally I can't stand Obama. I think he's a fake, and I think he has only his own gains in mind, and the prospect of him possibly becoming our president scares me. Now, with that said, I don't think there is any problem with someone uploading a political skin. As with anything else on this site, if you don't like it, just don't download it. It's not inappropriate. Now, with THAT said, I think this skin is terrible. It was obviously just thrown together with chopped up graphics from who knows where. Look at the title bar, the words travel right over the buttons and off the window. If there is ANY reason WC should not have let this through moderation, it's just that it's not a functional skin. But the political aspect should not be moderated. Even though Obama sucks.

RPG, for a newbie like me, getting the feedback is essential to LEARNING how to skin, so it makes sense to me to post even if it's not perfect. For example, the title bar running over that you mentioned. I have no idea how to fix that. Anyone who knows, please help me out!

i dont like it for several reasons that aside you need to put an disclaimer saying " this skin has not been approved by the damocratic party or by (how ever you chose to spell his name)) makes it kosher that way skin really isnt to bad i guess this could be used as an unofficial poll ,that's all !! ya i know ,i need a spell check

I would use chrome on this one on the frames.. Make more of a border around the "start menu" in chrome, and maybe a flag in there in the back on the start too, but all in all, a nice job, but see if you can put more work in it, doesn't seem done yet... Keep om keepen on!!!
