right on frero, not nearly as good as your skins. . . . ooops, looks like you've never tried skinning but any body can do it, can't they. Until you can do better than this, you're an idiot ! Get a life. Trucker has said before he's not a pro and does skins for himself then shares them.

Is this Windows XP, or 2000? I am confused. Looks like a recolored Windows 9x theme to me. Did you use Skinstudio 6 for anything? This looks like a theme from 2000 or earlier. I'm sorry to rub it in;

Now, how did I know this skin would get that response from some of the folks around here! *chuckle* I had thought about porting over High Contrast #1 you know, count yourself lucky I'm not quite that insane (yet). I make skins I like, then I use them for a while to see how well I like to use them. If I like them enough to consider them a keeper, then I share them. If someone else finds them pleasing, great...if not *shrug* plenty of glass and metal eye-candy to be found around here...move along. This works well on my machine, where I do a lot of CAD and other work on. I find it's a nice unobtrusive skin that doesn't get in the way of getting work done. Just as with the original MapleXP skin this is tweaked from, I took Classic Maple and rounded a few edges here and there. For you doubters, I am QUITE capable of cranking out cookie-cutter glass and metal effects (I can do some mighty smooth animations, as well)...I just choose not to make that stuff for everyday use. This skin isn't the way it is due to some lack of talent or expertise, it's specifically designed to be exactly what it is.

I wish the bitterness of these people was better redirected at the other skins on this site. They deserve it.

I agree, kwyjibo! And I can think of plenty. I have Vista, so I can't use this, BUT, there is no reason why these people had to be so utterly rude. Did they ever here of constructive criticism? There is no need for name calling, or being down right nasty! If the tables were turned, I bet they wouldn't like that said about them, bottom line. Ignore them, digital_trucker. Like kwyjibo said, they need to look at other skins on this sight, UGH!!!!

I never even thought of that...it was just a handy window at the time. I wouldn't worry about it though, it's not like my stats are anything to get much excited over.

Remember folks, many skin for themselves and share with those who might like the skin. If you don't like something move on unless you have some ability to Critique the skin on it's technical merits.

Is anything skinned, looks like just a recolor to me sorry.
This is just a Windowblinds skin made out of the Maple color scheme from the Windows Classic theme.
