There is a problem with the pop up captions. The font color matches the background color so you don't see any text.

sjc1963: If you mean tool-tip popups, the light yellow tool tips that spawn for button descriptions and file details, I don't see the problem here. I didn't modify that value, so if the previous skin you had set the value, WB may not have generated a reset to black-on-yellow (so it may be a bleed-over from another skin you tested). I used SkinStudio 6 (v6.2.0.0) and left that property alone. If it's another type of popup, let me know and I'll fix it.

That's the one. I switched to a different skin and back again and it worked. Must have been that bleed through you mentioned.

Looks like you missed skinning a lot of things with this WB. Is this a work in progress?

Switched back and forth a couple of times from different skins- still getting some sort of odd grid in the system tray, and some odd artifacts under the Start menu.

Imzadi: I avoided skinning a lot of the details - I didn't want it to be over-skinned, which seems to get in the way of using the operating system. I will probably add more skinning, but it will probably wind up looking more steampunk than Victorian, and be less usable.

You can skin something and it be no less intrusive to the user.. leaving it unskinned just looks... unfinished...having said that .. its not a bad skin.. but could be more complete.

I think it's beautiful but there is one problem. I like to run my taskbar double-height and it doesn't look right in this skin. In the area under the Start button there are a couple of grey boxes. The system tray doesn't look right, either, when the taskbar is at double-height. Hopefully you can fix this and post an update.

Thanks for the complement, and for the bug report, RWeivoda. I never tried using it with a double height taskbar. I just uploaded a version that fixes the problem (8 Feb). Wincustomize says that it will take a few days to be replaced from the link, so I suppose the 12th or so it should be available for download.
