I did say it was untried in xp and that there were some problems that need ironing out currently working on Lovin The Green X2 should upload by end of month. Dan

I reley hope so!!! I hope thar the second wont be such a feliure ! becouse I realy like the general idea of this skin. Whats the wallpaper on the screen bay the way?

Ehmm...perhaps is better try another experiment, you have re-colored diamond with many errors and you've skinned perhaps the 20%....i suggest to you to learn better how works sks and good luck

I'll be honest with you, It's great your learning to skin.. I support that , but I would try to put together something a little more cohesive before uploading. Try skinning all parts, there are also some great tutorials at www.good-tutorials.com for photoshop.

I respect the fact you posted this skin, knowing you would take some hits. I have tried dabbling in the mystic arts of skinning and know how challenging it is. I agree with vStyler that more effort is needed before your next post and regret I can't provide any constructive comments to help you as I gave up and turned my meagre artistic talents towards landscaping. It provides me with a larger canvas to hide my errors.

I would suggest downloading some skins that you really like. Open them in skinstudio and tear them apart to see how they are made. Don't give up!

My suggestion would be to post what you have to the Sneak Previews section of the forum so you can get tips and comments before uploading, because it seems to me from what you've said, the Sneak Preview forum is really where this belongs. I'm a newbie skinner myself, and if I hadn't taken my ideas to the forum first, they would have been even worse than they already are. Good luck in the future.

This is good advice mate...... And try to think out of the box...... cos most people here would like to see skins that look as far from the (XP/Vista Windows GUI) as pos...... And ask for help!!! There are great guy's & lovely Lady's

we all have to start somewhere. - I remember the first versions of the wb's I uploaded weren't great, as my skillset improved, I noticed the mistakes (obvious & some not so obvious), improved them and after a while it got better. It's a learning process and it doesn't really stop and even when you've mastered all the technical aspects, being creative & new & original is a bigger challenge. Keep at it, this was the first step, look forward to seeing you improve! ��
