I checked out the two blinds you mentioned and it seems to be a matter of taste because there's no way I'd use Light Mark, let alone pay for it, much too dark for me.
And I couldn't find the other though I did find a Sirius v2 which is 7 years old so I really don't think it can be compared to the capabilities of the WindowBlinds of today.
At any rate, you are certainly entitled to your opinion as we all are.

One doesn't have to be able to write a book to enjoy it and say something positive to the author about it. If you didn't like the book, move on and read something else. Just telling the author their work sucked without having a clue as to how much work and effort goes into creating it is just downright wrong.
So if you don't like a particular author's work here, you really only have two choices that won't make you look childish and petty:
1. Don't say anything at all.
2. Say something constructive e.g. "The skin is nice but not really my style. I prefer a little more transparency yada yada yada ... good job on it though."
This let's the author know you don't think it's worth 5 stars but that you still appreciate the work they put into it. Still though, as MJ said, all things being equal, option 1 is best.

[sarcasm]Now there's a useful bit of constructive criticism.[/sarcasm] What exactly don't you like about it? What would make it look better?
