as i promised weekly,,why not try monthly ,,as you have a talent but its wasted throwing them out that fast ,,this would have been a cool wb if you had spent a month or two on it,,

@ Madcat21 Someone else said the same thing to you, but you did not take it lightly. Why can't we be positive and kind at the same time? What about "Very nice mate! Keep up the great work " It can go a little deeper if someone wants to help while being honest. " This skin looks nice. But I'd like to see this fixed or worked on a little more. Or simply "Keep up the great work" Almost everyone wants to be The Only Coq qui chante!

Thank u (Elfius Saint) and (madcat21) @madcat21: i will take a bit more time on them now ive noticed that im going through them a bit to fast... there are 2 types of designers: -the slower ones (who not always sure what they want to do next) -or the fast ones (like me the designers who are bursting with ideas and inspiriation for themes and thats why i dont take that long in designing themes: for example, the start menu`s only need a minimum of 30 minutes to make a high quality one.) @Elsius Saint: I know not everyone writes good things into the comments but sometimes if u read between the lines u can see that madcat21 is giving me some plus on my work, im not taking it hard, because every designer needs a bit kritik so he can see where his mistakes are and where he has to work on a little bit more But to both of u thank u for ur comments and advice greEtz Blake Hughes

ok,,the graphics on the start menu if big should be as a glyph on top of your just gray right side then the graphics wont strech ,if the graphics are small you can use the painting margins as thay stop it streching,,if you need to no anything just e,mail me and ill help..jas12121234@hotmail.co.uk it took me ages to figer out skinstudio so i no how hard it can be,,there is a few that will help on here im one,,so just ask you will learn more from us,,and i noticed your name on the wb is stardock ,to change that open your skin up in skinstudio and in the top left click file then click skin properties then type your name,,to do a substyle for win7 or vista or xp click top right file then click substyle management than click add,,

The slower ones are just taking more time to make sure the design is the best it can be, before they upload. There are a lot of us skinners here who are bursting with ideas -- personally, I have at least 2 blinds going at the same time, sometimes 3 or 4...but I don't upload until they are completely finished. Sometimes new ideas will come for an already uploaded skin, and it can be updated, but I don't think these skins you've uploaded are finished. Like madcat21 said, you have skills....now you need to mature those skills and that means showing patience to finish the skin and restraint on uploading prematurely. Keep up the good work.

good effort blake, but I agree with madcat and k10w3. You need to slow down, and you need to start skinning everything...leaving stuff default is kind of a no-no. keep skinning.

I can see a huge wealth of talent here too. Which in turn, makes me wonder about the colors used in this skin. Looking at the start menu - the window borders - the taskbar, is that really the color scheme you were going for?

I agree with everybody here... I don't think madcat21's original comments were too negative, it sounded like he was encouraging Blake. Blake, your works are evolving and I am seeing vast improvements over each blinds. I can understand the excitment of making something so tangible and sharing it with the whole world. I think a little more thought will take you to new heights! I would rather see you or any skinner having more customers than to lose them. Carry on with the terrific works!!! Oops, used the wrong name, I was getting a little confused with the two B & B's lol. Plus I honestly find Wincustomize's "Post Comment/Save Changes" a little frustrating, not too user friendly sometimes. No wonder there's a lot of duplicates and people having difficulty in making spaces between paragraphs and so forth. Overall, it could use a little improvement such as page numbers for all the skins and allowing us to post screenshots in the comment area for issues a little too hard to explain... Kudos to all...

I gotta say I really like this design. Of course I would. since it's a tech design. not at all unlike a PCAP If I could work with vector programs I would change the spirals into concentric rings. and probably not use the rings he has. Well unless I wanted it to look like raindrops in a puddle which can be the case. There are two problems I see. The caption buttons don't work all the time. and your left windowframe is off to the left by a couple of pixels when it's active. Which could be intentional as I did on tron. however it shifts even more left when inactive. Other than that. Really slick work. Blake I know what you mean. I really do. It takes everything I have to stay on track. I keep wanting to go over here and do this and that. and oooh wouldn't this be cool. Or ugh I really dont feel Like doing this. Or I can't think of anything to do with this. I get it. I'm also bursting with Ideas and was moving way too fast. Hence all the re uploading of the same materials. Some call it ignorance on fire, But when one is excited about a new creation. It's hard to hold back.

most deffinitly an awesome skin, very easily one of if not my fav, i like the graphics, colors, and of course its a big plus to have a matching wallpaper included. i wish more artists would just package the wallpaper with their WB's cause i like when it enables the wallpaper that came with it, makes the theme complete. Anyways great work and this will be my theme of use for some time trust me. edit - i am on XP, and the skin works for the most part, their is only a few times where nothing will show until i highlight over with my mouse.
