This skin is nice and rainy-day looking.
The start menu probably shouldn't have that to-black gradient on top because it looks like there's always a shadow on it.
It would be nice to have the app background be slightly lighter so the black text stands out more.
Besides that this is one of your best skins i think. Nice.
Edit: There are also no pictures for the apps on the start menu which is a disappointment.
At least I kept this skin on for a few minutes without deleting it, it's pleasing to the eyes with its low saturation.

Hi LIGHTSTAR,
I purchased WINDOWS BLINDS-10 sometime ago with an add-on software pack. The reason for this was due to WIN10-PRO, not having enough customisation as with my previuos OS system (WIN-PRO-7). As I'm more or less chained to my PC with work, I need a UI that doesn't give you 'snow-blindness'. The WIN-10 Dark theme still doesn't work as I'd hoped for with non-MS programmes, these still tend to have quite a bit of yardage of white that can't be changed.
I've had ago myself with WINDOWS BLINDS, changing themes with some good results, but this takes so much time understanding what colours belong to what on your screen. Perhaps a visual aid whould assist WINDOWS BLINDS uers in this regard, I'm sure one exists somewhere ?
Anyway, I've now downloaded your SOFTNESS-SKIN, which I can see has a whole lot more professional touch to it. This is deep-joy to my eye-balls indeed, lovin-it.
One small item I've notice, is that one software programme I use has dockable sub menus if you want them on screen. These are quite handy & can also be partly hidden to smaller tabs on the side of your screen by clickng a 'pin' to screen to keep, or 'un-pin' to screen to hide to side screen small tabs. These 'pin & unpin' little icons on the top bar of each dockable menu don't appear with your skin. If these could be included as a future update, this would be way-cool, but no big deal, your skin is now a permanent fixture on my PC.
All the best.

Hi VIKIN,
My START menu, seems to work OK, moving roll-over pictures, the lot. ? No too sure about the shadows you mention, but I do note in WINDOWS-BLINDS settings when you load these skins has further settings, a 'flatten button' I seem to recall, this may help.

Thanks for the nice comments about the skin CJT1963. That issue you are having would most likely be something in Windowblinds itself and not the skin itself. I am not super clear on understanding it exactly, but does the issue occur on all Windowblinds skins you apply?

Hi LIGHTSTAR,
I'm not too sure yet, but the CAD SOFTWARE I use has these dockable sub-menus & controlled to be 'pinned' & 'unpinned' to your screen. The icon on the header is literally the shape of a plastic head drawing pin. If you look at the link below, this will show you a video of this particular software in screen customising. The item in question is to the right of this video presentation. Matt will demonstrate this in the video after a few minutes on dockable menus, this should assist you in clarifying my previous message.

Sorry, but that link does not work. It says no videos were found.
Please apply some other Windowblinds skins and see if the problem occurs with them also and let me know.

Hi LIGHTSTAR,
H'mmm, not too sure what happened with that link, anyway the link below takes you to my YOUTUBE CHANNEL. The video demo I discussed is the first one, top left of screen under UPLOADS. All these uploads are for the CAD programme I use called STI-SPIRIT-PRO ver. 2016.

I've now checked another programme I use called SKETCHUP, with similar PIN & UNPIN menu icons. These appear visually ok & work as expected. Therefore it must be a quik of the SPIRIT programme.
All the best.

You assume correctly CJT1963, it is the program itself that has the issue, many programs have quirks when applying Windowblinds skins. It is impossible to design for every application if the application itself forces its own settings. Sorry.

Very gentle on eyes for someone who stares at the monitor for 15+ hours a day.
