Downloaded and using. It took me a bit to figure out the top buttons.
The one on the left of the screen is for closing.
On the right there are 6 buttons.
Starting from the far right, that button does nothing, the second button expands the window.
The third button minimizes the window to the tray.
The fourth button does a roll up.
The 5th button fades the window.
The 6th button also does nothing.
I have Windows7 64 bit. The two buttons that do nothing, are they just for decoration?
Really a very good blind. Thank you and I hope you will have a bit of time for another one! I read your article... a bit too long, but interesting!

This is a beautiful and subtle skin, which re-colours brilliantly. I am not usually a fan of this older look (but remember my own Amiga computer) but there are lots of skilfully crafted bits around the screen which combine to very good effect. Great stuff.

Thanks, yes, recolouring works really fine, I tested some time ago on my work PC.
For the functions of the titlebar-buttons and the different sub-styles, please look at the screenshot, there you can find the descriptions.
On my Win7/8 PCs all buttons work, however sometimes the close-button on the left doesn't work when applying the theme sometimes. (And if you don't like the close button on the left, you can choose the Win-Substyles..)

Really loved this WindowBlind.
I've also made a CursorFX using the pointers you provided + made some other missing ones based on original Windows 98 cursors, you can get them by sending me an email: matsilagi@gmail.com
I've tried uploading it here but it keeps giving me a Security Error on both files. Its releated to server configuration and whatnot. (#2049).
Can't wait to see your future works!

I registered just to say thank you for this wonderful skin.
I tried to do the same on WindowsBlinds 8 and ended up hawing to reinstall my Windows after days of frustration. You just saved me from having to go trough that again.

I've got to say, this really is an excellently made skin. And you don't get so many retro computing skins here these days so it's fantastic to see.
I did have to make a couple of adjustments- TeenGirlHandD is a cool font but it's very hard to read at the original size on a modern display so I bumped up the overall system font size setting another point and a half on the slider. I also had to change the colour for ExpInfoTxt in the detailed settings to black because it can't be seen on the grey background otherwise. Not many people have this feature turned on but hopefully these tips are useful to someone else too anyway.
Many thanks for the skin. I intend to use it regularly now going forward and of course...
