back in the days of windows xp, there used to be a skinner... his name was wb-skinner, on deviantart and other sites. it's virtually impossible to find his skins anymore, except in old screenshots on my deviantart accounts. i wonder if there's any way you could try to revamp some of this old skins? i don't know if you can even still get ahold of him, i lost touch years ago, i just overcame eight years of homelessness, but... i've asked people before, and no one really showed any interest. i would give anything, i would pay to have those skins again. they were made for the windows xp patch, i don't think they were usable with stylexp, or at least i didn't do it that way, but please, i'm begging, they were my ultimate favourite skins. moonbuggy 2.0/3.0/darkbuggy, plasticaa, xoddx (pronounced exotics), abraxis, everafter, zion... even just to have moonbuggy 2.0 and abraxis back would be awesome enough, plasticaa and xoddx would be absurdly outrageous. is there any way i can beg and plead and convince you or anyone else... i can link you to my deviantart pages, if you can somehow salvage or extract the skin images, or just recreate them from the pictures. i remember xoddx was once ported to windowblinds, and didn't port properly, it was too shiny on the taskbar. please, please, please, please, please! i'm begging, i want those back. i even asked skinner years ago, and he absolutely refused to ever skin again, which is a damn shame, he was legendary. he's a canadian firefighter in thunder bay ontario, i wonder if you even remember. is there any way i could convince you to even try that? please? i would gladly pay you for your effort. and, god, i miss the old days. when i lost my job at aohell in two thousand two, and still had my studio apartment, i'd fill my pocket with one point four four megabyte floppy disks, i'd walk across the street to the library cause i didn't even have internet, i'd look up the latest skinner style with synaesthetic anticipation and excitement, from themexp.org, i'd download it, zip it up into one megabyte chunks on each floppy, walk it back home across broadway, load it into my computer, and... i remember when i first saw moonbuggy two point oh lord. glimmers of light in dark times. i've lost so much in my life. my mother, my two children, two cats, a car, multiple computers, a friend's painting, a stack of metal posters, shirts and tapestries, writings of mine, i started photography around mid to late two thousands, filmed my son being born, lost it all. not that anyone cares, but... please just consider it? help me get a small but meaningful chunk back, and i would be forever indebted. (speaking of, that's another skin by someone else i'd love to see again, "indebted". or "ceirous"). anyway. thanks for listening. happy holidays.
