Oddly, deleted again, rebooted. Opened regedit, removed all instances of Daimen, except the wallpaper. Rebooted, redownloaded and installed the skin, still no substyle.
Great skin, but unusable to me.

Really don't know why that's happening. Did you try deleting the whole Daimen folder from windowblinds folder? Maybe rename the daimen.wba file to daimen.zip, open it up and just check if there are is a daimen.ssd file in there, otherwise it's not the new version. Kinda annoying because I added the substyle for you!

Couple of snaps here... (wish I could get images to work in these posts!)
Just downloaded the Daimen.wba and opened it in 7zip - you should have these files...
And I deleted the Daimen folder from the Windowblinds folder (shouldn't be any reason to touch the registry at all!) and then reloaded the skin from this Daimen.wba file and see this...

Thanks for the extra work. I'm on the road right now but will update when I get home tomorrow. Definitely not using Start 11, as I recently rebuilt my main PC to get rid of Windows 11 and roll back to 10.
I think that it is possible that it has something to do with the fact I have a 21:9 monitor on the bottom and two above it. And I run the Task Bar vertically on the left side of the main screen. So opening the Start Menu puts it at the top of the screen with another screen above. That seems to somehow make Windows remap the Start menu items that would be above the main body of the app, to a lower position. Making that "floating" user icon appear as it does.
one last thing I also run Display Fusion which manages the Task Bar on the secondary and tertiary monitors.
Thanks again I really like this skin so am looking forward to using it.

Looks really nice and clean, but 3rd level start menus (universal applications fly out on start menu) are not skinned and colored...

Ok, that's the answer - the file you have there is not the updated one. I've just done a fresh download from here now and it is definitely the new version and does have those files.
Yes, correct. All my recent skins share common elements for some items which aren't seen as much or are Vista/Win7 items I don't see in Win10. Basically it lets me make new skins quicker without getting bored before finishing them!

That's just it, for some odd reason, the one I just now downloaded is missing those files. I know it sounds odd, but it is true. I'll figure it out, it isn't your fault.

..but glad it is working somewhere for you!
You're going to be really pleased... just finished updating ten other skins with the 'no user pic' sub-style. I'll be uploading those today.
