Use this setting under windowblinds: Check mark it to enable the setting.

Or you can use oldnewexplorer (enabled the option to show the details pane on the bottom)

or windhawk.

The dpi scale you are using may not be supported. Working on adding higher dpi scales. Set back to 100% in display settings in order to use the skin for now.

some reason this isn't compatible with startisback program?

Windowblinds11 does not work with startisback. Disable that program and install start11. Not a theme problem.

hello! So i've used a few other stardock skins and the transparencies seem to be working, however I cant seem to get any of the transparencies to work on this skin. I went into ski studio to change stuff from blur to semi-transparent and it still doesn't seem to work.

However, I do see that they should be glassy/transparent on the full preview of skin studio

It is transparent, but using windows 10 acrylic style of blur. So it's not as see through as it once was on windows 7 with aero blur. I also have it overlaying a color on all of the transparent elements. This adds another layer on top of the blue that makes it less transparent. Using the clear style should render it semi transparent better. The other colors not so much. It's just a limitation with the method I used to color everything.

I downloaded WindowBlinds today and downloaded this skin. I absolutely love it! It is so nice having a Windows 7 look back on my Windows 11 PC.

There are a handful of apps though that are having some issues with your skin. Here are the current ones having issues. If I disable your skin on these apps, they load OK. I'm using the Sea skin on Windows 11 on an HP Notebook. I can post more specs. If I find any more, I can let you know:

• WordPerfect 2021 (yes, we still use it here). With the skin applied, WordPerfect crashes shortly after launching. You can probably test with a free trial of WP: https://www.wordperfect.com/en/ I haven't tested with Quattro Pro and Presentations yet, but I can
• BetterBird (Thunderbird fork). With the skin applied, the top title bar and tabs are black, even in light modes. The app is free: https://www.betterbird.eu/
• Accordance Bible Software (I work for Accordance). With the skin applied, the top title bar flashes a lot (I can provide a screen recording if need be), and I can't open the Preferences dialog box either. Other than that, most other apps I've tried so far work perfectly, and I love the Windows 7 look on them!

Macrium Workstation is another app having issues. It shrinks the UI with the skin added, and dialog boxes are hard to read as well.

Quattro Pro 2021 is having the same issue. Corel Presentations 2021 seems to be OK for now.

This is frickin cool, my only issue is that the start menu doesn't have the proper transparency of the original in Windows 7, and when I try to change it in the setting, it changes the color rather than the actual transparency.

Windows 10/11 uses Acrylic for the blur. So its not possible to have the same Aero effect as before. Its just a limitation of what we can do. It can be set to opaque, semi-transparent(no blur), or blur (acrylic). There is no way to adjust the level of the blur.

I dont have control over how the skin looks on other apps unfortunately, if your apps are having issues.. You need to add it the the exclusion list in windowblinds so that they do not skin them.
