Terrific skin. You've packed quite alot of functinoality into it. Some bugs though:

When I switch it from titlebar mode to task bar mode, the skin seems to position itself to the middle of my screen.

If I drag the skin up from this this position it snaps back to the middle. If I drag it below this position it stays where I drag it.

If I then switch it back to titlebar mode, the skin completely disappears from the desktop and i have to kill WMP with the task manager.

FINALLY. I will finally be able to see skins other that the many versions of this. (no offense, but you made at least 8 differant versions, next time, try not to clutter so muck space PLZ!...)

But it is definitely a good skin...

bugreport:
using WinXP & WMP8, when I try to switch to micromode, only the middle-part of the player dissapears, and returns when I switch back to mainmode...

been away..

hey Manuel its a WMP9 only skin, moreever i dont have wmp8.. so really don't know what the problem is.. ... middle part disappears..??? does that mean that switch to main mode button does not move to the right but stays at the left corner...??

to both Chris & werewolf...
the taskbar mode is ment to be used if you prefer to place your player over the windows taskbar, as i said in this mode all the subviews appear above the main view...
so if you want to use this mode effectively it has to be placed near the bottom of the screen.
in order to get the skin to work in this fasion i ve made two views, one (titile bar mode) is placed at the top of the alctual player window & the other (taskbar mode) is placed at the bottom of the actual player window, so if the skin is in TaskBar mode & placed near the top of the screen & you switch to Title bar mode then the skin goes out of the screen area & same is true if you do the vice-versa (title bar -->> taskbar near the bottom of the screen)....
as for the skin snapping back to middle, its a WMP functionality wherein if a skin goes above the screen area by more than 20 pixels it is automatically pushed down by 20 pixels...

to Reeses: you can always change your view sorting order & i ve made only 4 skins so far (no offense, but just updating one skin if no major visual changes are made is a more better option rather than posting a new skin )

Thanks for the answer Pacific. However, when I go into titlebar mode, I can't even move the player up to anywhere near the top of the screen, it bounces back down to about 1/3 of the way from the top. Plus, no matter where the player is (in titlebar mode), be it at the 1/3 from the top position or somewhere in the bottom 2/3, when I switch back to taskbar mode, the player disappears from the screen completely.

hey werewolf, the actual skin height is of 260pixels (both titlebar & taskbar modes), so if u ve to switch to any of the modes you will ve to be awayf from the top/bottom of the screen by 260+ pixels..

Only in win98 did I have a problem, it works perfect in winXP....it's named SleekMP XP for a reasons. I've enjoyed the SleekMP series, but this one's the best...for now. Great work - keep it up.

Pacific,

This is a great skin. I installed it first on my work machine running W2K and WMP 9 with no problems. I then installed in on my home laptop which runnes XP Pro.

However, the words in the scrolling window are getting cut off. I can only see the top portion of them. I then realized I was running WMP 8, so I installed version 9, but the problem persists.

Any ideas? Also, how does one toggle between task bar and title bar mode?

Keep up the great work.

Pacific,

Thanks. I should have read your notes more thoroughly. If you want me to send you a picture of how it looks like, let me know. Also, if you need any specific info regarding my machine, I'd be happy to pass it along.

hey forest armadillo.. about the colors, in the main mode theres a paint brush like button that lets u change the colors of the skin...
to keep the player always on top, right click on the skin & choose "Options..." from the menu... in the dialog that popsup goto the "Player" tab & then turn on the "Display on top when in skin mode" option.

njoy & thanks..!!
