Mock-up a skin #2: First Person Shooters

Well the first one didn't kill us . . .

Monday, July 14, 2008 by ZubaZ | Discussion: Community

Last weeks "contest" was a lot of fun.  I really liked what I saw.  I loved the fact that two of the submissions are on their way to production!

This week we'll try to engage folks that like games.  Mock up a skin based on a First Person Shooter.  Break out you Doom assets or your Master Chiefs.  See if you you can get Duke Nukem out before 3D Realms does!

So let's see what the great brain and artistic trust at Wincustomize can come up with.

This week's template is from the Sins of a Solar Empire skin:

Good luck and have fun!

The last time I played a first person shooter (Doom) I got so stressed out I had nightmares.

Totally Xiandi! I'd wake myself up from a dead sleep screaming out the Doom cheat codes!

IDDQD, IDKFA, etc, etc...

Resident Evil addict here. I still have the discs in my nightstand but haven't played in years. I had to go with something less stressful.

DOOM - There's never been anything that was even a close second to the hours of enjoyment this game provided. Nor has there been anything that so changed the face of PC gaming as it did!

Why not? Command & Conquer Tiberium is an FPS apparently in development.

Where do we get this template?
The Sins image above is a template.  Or any preview you want from the WB config.  I thought of it more as a "starting point" than anything else.

Definitely an awesome skin, the link is shown above just in case the link below doesn't work.

BTW, Zu, I thought this was a good idea, keep the thread going, you may get a few submissions on this.
