DeskScapes 3 New User Interface

Tuesday, September 1, 2009 by Island Dog | Discussion: Personal Computing

When you see the new DeskScapes 3, the first thing you are going to notice is the totally new user interface.  It’s much sleeker than before, and one big new feature is the ability to preview the .dreams before applying.

Check out the video to see more!

This version shows the commitment to quality programs for which Stardock et al is well known! Side by side comparisons of the original legacy products shows just how far we have come, from the pixelated past to the smooth rendering of todays offerings... Kudos to Stardock group of artists!

I have update to the version 3 beta today, but it didn't work. Then subsequently Impulse notify me another updating, I have installed it and the interface of Deskapes has switched this way

In Impulse, click on the blue dropdown box in the left upper corner and chose to show pre-release versions. After this you should have an update availible for DeskScapes. The update will not be numbered as DeskScapes 3 yet, it should be something like 2.91 [b].

The only complaint I have about the new interfaces (I've seen this in WB7) - the size of the scrollbar. So far, it's been too thin.
