Yesterday, the system tray alerted me to a WB 7.41 update. I started SDC, selected WB 7.41 and clicked uppdate. After the required boot, I assumed that WB 7.41 was installed. This morning I got another alert that there was a WB 7.41 update??? I checked the installed WB and found that WB 7.4 was still installed.
I started SDC again, selected WB 7.41 and clicked update, where upon SDC crashed!

I have recieved the new windowblinds update 3 times now via "Stardock Central" but it has yet to apply itself. I have gone as far as unloading windowblinds from memory to try and solve this.
Any suggestions would be appreciated in getting the update as I don't want to have to get heavy handed and uninstall WB and then apply the update. I just purchased the "Object Desktop" suite of programs last week and still have a re-learning curve to go through.
Thanks for any help anyone can offer.
Doc'
P.S. I fixed the install on my machine this way, I unloaded Windowblinds and DesktopX which were the only Stardock programs running. I then went to the directory where the update was downloaded to and pressed the file to install it manually and after, I rebooted. The install went fine and I am now updated.

Yes, I did that but it didn't install itself, it just froze after the download. Please see above for my edit, I was able to get it to install after doing it that way. Thanks for you're help

Not yet but I didn't update to 7.41 either. The update didn't effect anything I was doing so still using 7.40.

If you hover the mouse over the download button it will tell you things like version.
I didn't get Update choices on my download page. Not a one. I downloaded the only one I had which was 7.41.1 Now what? I have nothing that says 7.42. Stardock Central absolutely refused to install anything, I finally gave up and did it by hand. BTW, how do I turn off the TSR part of SDC? I don't like being nagged and since I game I don't like things running that really don't need to. (plus if it isn't going to install stuff, it might as well stay out of my tray)
