Had to comment on this one. It's small enough not to get into the way, and clearly designed for maximum functionality. Lovely contrast with most daily objects. The animations are beautiful and seamlessly merged -- no transition quirks at all between shapes! In short: just the right kind of distracting, and will be hard to oust for my current cursor set. 
I actually find it a bit sad that the bar (text) cursor doesn't have an animation though. You might consider a feature addition if ever revisiting this... maybe something subtle, like a lump moving up and down the vertical bar?
