@ Jack Beloved: Try the "renaming the file" method. Rename the file from "MagnifierDoneRight.zip" to "MagnifierDoneRight.CurXPTheme". That always works for me. Let me know how it goes.
@ Bob the beer dude: Heh, I'll try to make more jumbo sized cursors. The zip thing doesn't make sense because the .CurXPTheme files are already actually zip files. So they are in fact asking us to zip up a zipped up file. That only increases the size further.
And again, thanks to all of you (other than Ninjooo0) for liking and using this set.

Is it possible to darken the cross-hairs to be able to see them better?

The program is Paint Shop Pro 8 by Jasc software. The frame is a plugin effect called magnifier (surprise), but the reflection by the plugin was not what I wanted so I made them myself as a separate layer.
It is possible to darken the cross hairs but I'm not sure if I can find time to do it any time soon. I'll try, though...

The PSP plugin actually comes with PSP 8. All you have to do is buy PSP 8. $90 something, and I'm pretty sure you can actually download it and start using immediately...

shall0w, it's not supposed to work. It just looks like a magnifier. Sorry to put your hopes up like that...
