Patrick:

Click 'Download' and you will be prompted to download or open the theme. Save it to your machine somewhere.

To install, right click the DesktopX icon in the taskbar, and select 'Import object'. Click 'Browse' and then find the save object on your machine.

_martin_, my CPU pegged out at 100 and I couldn't get any of the functions on the calendar to work correctly Sorry. It looks great though.

Yes, I think that occassionally DX gets a bit confused by a lot of script.

I find that if you can restart DX quickly as it's loading, or save the theme then load it cleanly DX settles down.

I could however do to clean up some of the code. I'll do that now.

Cleaned up the code a bit now.

Also added a clock based on a new text plugin by Alberto.

I was wondering if it is possible to have the current day circled or highlighted like rainlender. Can it also highlight the upcoming appointment dates on the calender as well? I notice that there is an alarm setting and other options that look really interesting to me.

I was also concerned with the large size of the previous calender. The DX Innovation theme has a calender function but it isn't as nice as this one. I was just wondering about the functionality and size. But, it is great. Thank you for sharing it.

Norton firewall detects a malicious script attached to this file. Don't know if its just a bug or what but I can't bring myself to load it with that message coming up. Otherwise looks like a great idea.

ChasUGC: Yes, that is the plan. TextColor is broken in the current DesktopX build otherwise it would already be done.

When it's fixed you'll be able to select all text colors used, including current day and appointment days. The code is ready to plug in.

The size really is down to graphics. When it comes to it, the value added stuff is all text, so graphics could easily be stripped out

Mage1:

Understand your concern. The calendar writes appointments to a text file on your hard drive so they can be restored even if you remove then reload the theme.

I suspect that is what Norton is upset about.

I can only assure you it is safe. My level allows me to upload without approal being required if that is any reassurance.

I have norton and I got that message too. I hesitated until I realized that the software involved was from a safe source. And, I had no problems. Note that Norton only called it malicious script and not a virus.

Its too bad about the text color. That would be really neat. But, this version is twice as big. Wow! Come on, how about half as large, not twice as large as the other version. I have no room for icons. The calender would be awesome without all the problems. Too large, no text color support, and how do you move it? It stays in the center of my screen and won't move. The other version allowed you to drag and move, but not this one. Shrink this baby down, get color text support, clean up the code (I also noticed black rectangles behind some text in the appointment section.)

I normally don't say all these negative things unless I really like it. I want to use this is why. Just needs a little work and this baby would be awesome and could replace rainlender.

Chas,

Got the version with the clock? If so it should be dragable.

Anyhow, I'm now doing a Rainlendar beater (or it will be when text colour is sorted)

I just want to add this awesome skin to my Corona desktop. It is too bad about the software problems. This is a very creative skin. If you come out with a rainlender version of this corona theme, that would be awesome. Please make it small. LOL

Question: If you click the top right button on the Innovation theme, a calender appears. Is it possible to integrate your skin into that calender? It uses bevels and does seem to have color text support.
