You must have a seriously crummy video card or something else was using the CPU. It was using 2% here and I've only got a 1.6Ghz.

Love it! Only 1-2% CPU (1.7Ghz). I'd like to see the snowflakes' activation area set to "None" though Also, in your spare time LOL how about some presets for "Flurries", "Steady Snowfall", and "Blizzard"?

Very cool! Be funny if it started to accumulate at the bottom of the screen For me the CPU usage seems to be between 2 and 8.... as it fluctuates. Still it shows the power of DX2.

I have a 2Ghz and it cranked my CPU up to 25-30%.

Very cool idea though. It would be awesome if you could fix it to here it didn't bog down on some machines because I really love it.

I have a 2.54 ghz and with it running alone, i only had 1%-2%...I LOVE THIS!...I would love to have rain to, so I could make this work with a weather script, so it snows and rains, when it really snows and rains

This prolly won't even appear on my screen, as Desktop X is a tad unstable. Even then, my system would super-lag because you guys have great PCs yet mine is something from almost 2 years ago (1.2GHz Pentium Celeron with built-in 32MB graphics. And I don't think Microsoft Plus knows it is 32MB, it sees it as less than 16MB.) =/
